Princess Caroline of Hanover, as Honorary President of the Union of Monegasque Women, (l'Union des Femmes Monégasques - UFM) visited an exhibition dedicated to the first Matrimony Day at UFM. The Union of Monegasque Women is a Monegasque association created in 1958. Its purpose is to defend the interests of its members and their families, and to provide them with moral and material assistance, if necessary. The Princess wore a red tile-print bell sleeve maxi dress by Melissa Odabash.

I like her look.
ReplyDeleteFirst time I don't like Catalina Style gratis dress terrible she's a very modern stylish lady this time I don't know what happened
DeleteOh my goodness. After the simple plain elegance of Queen Letizia and Crown Princess Mary, this is such a drop. Not just Princess Caroline, but the ladies either side of her are wearing these Granny dresses which don't flatter anyone. I liked the top of the dress when I saw the first pic but this length ruins it, in my opinion. Similarly the dress of the woman beside her and the one wearing a dress which reminds me of the dresses for angels in the school nativity play (plus boots!). The lady in the turquoise green dress is easily best in the line up.
ReplyDeleteThey can wear what they want. Ill still admire them.
DeleteGranny dresses are in fashion at this point. I'm ready to see the end of this trend as well, tho.
DeleteThe theme is comfy maternity wear. They do not have to dress up as its the Bond movie premier or he Cannes film festival. I think everyone looks nice. Longer lengths look more elegant than Vegas show girl chic or worse the jersey shore kiosk look which dominates fashion.
ReplyDeleteFlower dresses always looks frumpy. Simply horrible.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty dress. I love longer hemlines and this sleeve length, and would wear this in a heartbeat.
ReplyDeleteAlso, love the cool green dress with the super flaterring bare shoulders.

Always very elegant.

I think this is a nice casual boho look for her. It could easily get into frumpy, but it somehow works on her, maybe because she keeps in simple and styles it nicely with sandals. I also think the lady in the green dress and black jumpsuit look nice.

I agree. I think I've seen photos of her in this (or similar) before and it's a nice casual look on her.

Very pretty dress - she looks great.

Princess Caroline's dress is very similar to the dress she wore in her engagement photo to Phillipe Junot. Given the outcome of that ill-fated marriage, I'm sure she burned it long ago, haha. But she is just as beautiful and elegant today as she was in the 70's.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty dress--and like how Caroline modified the neckline. She's comfortable and elegant at the same time!
ReplyDeleteCaroline is darkening her hair again (look at the roots). I like it
ReplyDeleteShe must have borrowed that dress from her daughter in law Tatiana.
ReplyDeleteThis is really nice boho dress but doesn't look good on Caroline, you have to be born for wearing this style, she is too elegant.
ReplyDeleteI agree 100% Masha. You hit the nail on the head.
DeleteIch finde, das Kleid steht ihr nicht.

@A, you know that there is an ocean between Vegas, Jersey Shore and granny dresses right?

A happy, joyful print, we don’t often se this on Caroline. Which is why I quite like it. It fits the occasion.
