On September 10, 2021, members of the British Royal Family, including Princess Alexandra, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, The Duke of Kent, Princess Michael of Kent, Lady Amelia Windsor, Lady Helen Taylor and Lady Gabriella Kingston attended the marriage blessing of Flora Alexandra Ogilvy and Timothy Vesterberg at St James's Church in London.
Flora Alexandra Ogilvy and Timothy Vesterberg got married at the Chapel Royal of St. James’ Palace in September 2020. Due to the pandemic, the attendance to the ceremony was limited and took place under tight restrictions.
Flora was born on December 15, 1994 in Edinburgh. Through her grandmother, Princess Alexandra, she is a direct descendant of King George V. Flora Vesterberg is currently 58th in line of succession to the British throne. Flora Alexandra Ogilvy works in the field of contemporary art while her husband works in the finance sector.
Flora Alexandra Ogilvy wore an embroidered wedding dress by British couture bridal designer Phillipa Lepley. She also wore a full-length veil and the Ogilvy tiara, made up of pearls and diamond floral ornaments.
The brides dress, veil and tiara look lovely.
ReplyDeleteBoth the Sophie's (Wessex and Winkleman) are wearing a nice colour.
Golly, it's been ages since we've seen Princess Michael; she has changed a lot from her once very elegant self.
Nice to see members of the BRF who rarely make appearances nowadays.

Princess Michael is now 76 years old. Not only did she suffer from Covid, she also suffered from blood clots after her vaccinations. Considering all that she has been through health wise, its amazing she was able to attend this wedding and look so beautiful and elegant.
DeleteThanks God she wore tiara! I prefer her civil wedding dress but she looked nice.

Agree. The other gown was simple and elegant. My Mother always said less is more and a simple, elegant design lets the bride shine, not the gown.
ReplyDeleteShe is Sophie Winkelman, the wife of Frederick Windsor, former model.

Beautiful bride. Does anyone else see a resemblance to Princess Beatrice? Princess Alexandra is the best dressed among all of the ladies, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI totally saw Princess B! From hair color to the big eyes. ..... Gorgeous! Best wishes to the happy couple!

,
What a beautiful bride--stunning dress, one of the nicest I've seen in recent years. Princess Alexandra looks fantastic and apart from the Princess my favourite hat is that worn by her other granddaughter Zenouska Mowatt (in the blue outfit talking to the flower girls in the fourth picture) While Lady Frederick's pink coat is perfect, I don't care for the huge bow. Similarly, I like the dresses worn by Julia Ogilvy and the groom's mother but not their hats. Another winner for me is bridesmaid Lady Marina Windsor's pale lilac outfit. She easily outdid her sister Lady Amelia Windsor, who looked as if she were attending a festival rather than a wedding.
ReplyDeleteThe article reads, The wedding took place in 2020 and under tight restrictions, I don't see any masks, so I guess that protocol doesn't apply to the so called royals.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are from the blessing which took place on Friday- almost a year after the wedding.
DeleteThat was in 2020…there are no pictures of the event here. For heavens sake read the article before commenting.
DeleteLovely dress; but it's a shame when tiaras are not on straight (one recent example was Beatrice York's recent wedding). ~Laurel~
ReplyDeleteA lovely bride. Her mother Julia Ogilvy and Princess Alexandra stand out to me as being very well groomed and elegant. Love the pearl choker, Princess Alexandra is wearing.
ReplyDeleteMore crowns & tiaras please!
ReplyDeleteFlora looks pretty; the tiara is nice, the earrings look good. I like all of the pretty hats the ladies are wearing.
ReplyDeleteThe groom is the Swedish guy who went to London and caught a bride with royal blood.
ReplyDeleteWell done. ;-)
