Yesterday evening, Crown Princess Mary hosted the annual board meeting of The Mary Foundation and a dinner at Amalienborg Frederik VIII Palace. The dinner, which usually takes place once a year, had been canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic. The Mary Foundation's 2020 board meeting had taken place online due to the same reason. Crown Princess Mary shared a photo showing her putting table cards before the dinner. Crown Princess Mary wore a floral lace dress by Dolce & Gabbana.

Agree with Anonymous 12:19!
DeleteSo agree. These 3 royal ladies are the darlings of royalty &, they were not born into royalty or aristocracy. They have accepted their job &, role &, they given it their all. There has been no trying to change the rules, tradition or trying to modernise &, its working well. Mary I
DeleteHas a name...
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, she looks very pretty and elegant.
ReplyDeleteHas she lost weight? She look slimmer or its the clothes that are flattering instead of adding weight like some styles do?
Karin
DeleteThat looks like the same dress - or very similar - to the one the Duchess of Cambridge wore to greet the Chinese president and his wife. I just checked it and DoC's had a higher collar and eggplant rather than burgundy, though.
ReplyDeleteYes but the style is more or less the same
DeleteGood gracious did she knew what she was getting into?: (kitchen work), prep the table. ... With all the other work she already got?? She surely is hands on!!!
ReplyDelete-Anna-
Do you really think she is going to do "kitchen work"? Hasnt crossed your mind the idea that she s just posing? :)
DeleteHahaha...!
DeleteLovely dress which really suits CP Mary. I'd read somewhere that lacy dresses were now considered old fashioned but glad that it's either not the case or that Mary doesn't care anyway and wears what suits her.
ReplyDeleteWowza! Absolutely stunning.
ReplyDeleteChel
not only is she posing, she is just reading name tags.
ReplyDeleteYou state this coment in way that suggest, Mary had not much input and just posed for a photo which makes her out to be insignificant, I don't believe this for a moment. I believe Mary is the kind of person that does care about the finer details for events like this, she has shown this before and stated that she likes to be prepared. As for the photo it's just a photo a snap in time it doesn't suggest anything else. Mary looks really lovely and you coment is just off!

DeleteI do agree with every word you said!
In addition, I want to highlight the caption which reads" Crown Princess Mary hosted a dinner for the Mary Foundation".
If I hosted a dinner for a Foundation at my home, which has my name and I am a patron of, I would make sure everything is alright including the mise en place and any other detail.
This is irrispective of the staff that has laid the table and the photos which someone is taking of me.

What a beautiful picture of a very beautiful and beautifully attired CP Mary! I love her in this dress and color. Glad to see her wear it again.
ReplyDeletePeople are just having fun! Don't take these comments too literally.
ReplyDeleteAnd?
DeleteMary has this same dress in black. She wears both really well ! Ana
ReplyDeleteI appreciate a repeat. But somehow this feels oddly old school. Should feel fresh but it doesn’t.
