Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary will visit Vejle this evening to attend The Crown Prince Couple's Awards 2021 ceremony. Before that visit, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary visited the museum Kongernes Jelling. The visitor and experience center at Kongernes Jelling, which is called as "Home of the Viking Kings", lies in the middle of the monument complex around Jelling Church.
At the museum, the story of the Viking kings Gorm and Harald, their rune-stones, the huge ship-setting and the gigantic palisade which was built over a thousand years ago are told.
O dear. Just dashed in from glamping, it seems and this is a strangely unimportant event for a modern royal apperance. However their event will follow so maybe they're just too tired!

I really don't care for this new "big shirt" style. It does the wearer no favors. In the last pictures Mary looks nice. Maybe the event to follow will be more glamorous.
ReplyDeleteNice casual outfit for a casual event.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
DeleteNice casual outfit for a casual event.
ReplyDeleteAppearing casual looks nice when CP Mary does it. But I don't get the white sleeves on the top. The belt looks off. I think this is a bit of a miss match. Mary
ReplyDeleteEverything on her top half looks strange. The large shirt worn as a jacket. That weird half sweater with a belt over it with a white button up under it. It just looks like some avant-garde look to be worn on a runway during fashion week and not in real life.

I see these - what we call in French "débardeur" - knitted tops every where in the fashion shops. It seems that young people like this style very much. So for a casual event why not. MJ
DeleteGlad Mary is warm around her neck.

ReplyDeleteThis outfit is "superfun" and we are going to see much more. Avantgarde. Dancer
ReplyDeleteNot everybody can carry off avantgarde
