  1. I think Queen Margrethe looks great. I like the contrasting piping on both her dress and jacket. Her tailored sheath dress is flattering.

This is a very nice outfit.
The contrasting piping detail on the jacket, as well as on the collar and pockets of the dress add style. Queen Margarethe looks smart. The young girl in the last photo with her prairie style dress and braided hair looks very sweet.

  4. Beaucoup de goût dans la combinaison des couleurs blanche et bleu-marine que nous retrouvons également sur le liseré de la robe et de la veste ; joli son petit chapeau blanc qui semble très estival !

Dress/jacket/colour combination with proper length which suits the queen very well. As so often, I don't feel this is the best type of hat for her. Overall a great look.

    1. No, please leave the hat design alone at the risk of her taking inspiration from Queen Maxima.
p.s. I miss Queen Maxima so much.
Hope she'll be back with us soon.
Hope she's not snubbing us because of all the bad comments we've written.

  6. Queen Margrethe looks fabulous in this navy and white outfit. She may be wearing diamond and sapphire earrings (I can't enlarge the photo to get a better look). I love her hat. Ladies of a certain age need protection from the harsh summer sun and this hat fits the bill.

In the Scandinavian countries there isn't much harsh summer sun to do harm to your skin.
But yes, I like the hat and it goes well with her outfit.

Navy blue and white: an undestroyable good combination.
The jacket is very nice and the dress simply good.
This the kind of hat she wears most and it suits her very well.

I love the brooch; anchors away. Queen Margrethe looks lovely; who made the dress, jacket and hat, it would be nice to know. She is such a jolly soul.

Lovely combination of colors on the Queen. The hat might have been better if it were the same color as her dress, however, it is summertime and lighter colors are worn. jj

  10. HM is elegant and chic in her navy and white outfit--it is timeless. I also like her hat--again a timeless style. Perhaps had the ribbon been navy instead of white more people would like it. I imagine in person the hat looked just fine. The best part of all the photos is HM's radiant smile--she does love being with her subjects!
