This week, Queen Margrethe has been on her annual summer stay in the south of France. Prince Joachim, Prince Henrik and Princess Athena returned to France and spent the weekend with the Queen at Cayx Castle. Before returning to Denmark, the Queen shared a photo taken with Prince Joachim, Prince Henrik and Princess Athena at Cayx Castle along with a summer greeting.

    Quel plaisir de voir la reine au château de Cayx dans le Lot (sud-ouest de la France) pendant son séjour d'été annuel dans un cadre verdoyant sur fond de vignes ; elle suit la mode des espadrilles - Athéna est bien craquante dans cette petite robe fleurie que je crois avoir déjà vue et Henrik toujours aussi mignon ; Joachim a l'air dans une bonne forme !

      Le château de Caïx ou de Cayx, situé en France dans la commune de Luzech, dans le département du Lot, est une des propriétés de Margrethe II. Le château de Caïx est aujourd’hui une demeure royale et une propriété viti-vinicole produisant du Cahors !

    nel senso che si abbracciano, si toccano e non hanno paura di far vedere i loro sentimenti, non sono belle statuine.
    Forse il termine che ho usato è improprio, ma li vedo molto più vicini al popolo rispetto alla monarchia inglese, che peraltro adoro, ma che in pubblico non si lascia andare!

      In questo caso, può essere che sia cosi, di certo però non si può dire che la regina Elisabetta non sappia stare vicina al suo popolo... Basti pensare al fatto che durante la seconda guerra, la famiglia reale sia sempre rimasta al suo posto...

    I love everything about this picture. Queen Margrethe looks fashionable in her espadrilles. Glad to see her enjoying family holiday time. Everyone looks nice.

    The family look lovely. Hoping they are having a good holiday .Prince Joachim is a good support to her Majesty more so than Prince Frederik (Tara)

      Sorry I don't agree with this. This family all seem close and caring to their mother and each other. The Queen always seems proud of her family, To say one son supports her more than the other is untrue.
