Princess Delphine of Belgium attended the press presentation held for Lamborghini Art Car, which will race in the third stage of the DTM championships, at the race track in Zolder. The Princess designed the appearance of Lamborghini. The so-called Art Car was presented during the press presentation.
Belgian Esteban Muth from Brussels will drive a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 designed by the Princess in the race. According to the Princess, the core message behind the print was to "never give up", as can be read on the car. "It has to do with perseverance,” says the Princess. "You don’t achieve much in life without a lot of perseverance"
Alors là, je dis non à cette robe ; heureusement qu'elle a une belle silhouette mais c'est tout ; on peut penser que la princesse s'en est inspirée pour concevoir l'apparence de la Lamborghini !
ReplyDeleteI think this might be the first time in my life I have seen a dress match a car's paint design! Still--I like it! Delphine is very talented. I love the message of her design--she certainly understands the idea of never give up. Her dress and her car are great and I hope the Belgian car wins the stage.
ReplyDeleteAgree with Janet. A nice combination of high-tech (because these cars are definitely high-tech with a lot of IT embedded), art and fashion. Delphine seems to be an interesting and whimsical lady.
DeletePrincess? OK.

Yes, princess. Maybe you missed the news the past few years.
DeleteShe loves her green shoes. Fun dress.
ReplyDeleteUnique! every person is special in their own way and Princess Delphine is no exception. I think that she is a very handsome lady and quite stylish too! FITZHUGH
ReplyDeleteWell I for one like her dress.
ReplyDeleteI think it's artsy (seeing that she is an artist) to have the print replicated on the car. It looks fun. The print itself is obviously making a statement by the words it contains, but the way it is applied to the dress with the larger letters on the top and the smaller ones cascading to the bottom with little flecks of colour added (as well as along one sleeve) is very nice.
Given that the print is so busy, I also like that the style of the dress is kept simple. Light and breezy. The style and shape is very flattering to Princess Delphine.

I agree with Anon 9:13. It’s a perfect match of clothing to wearer. She looks very striking. (V.M.)
DeleteI am all for this. She is a one of a kind, true to herself woman and I love it. The message is great and artistically, I like the print on the car. I think it translates well to the dress, and as stated above, has kept the dress style simple to show it to its best advantage. I hope we continue to see more of her. It is nice to shake things up a bit. ~d
ReplyDeleteThe concept is very modern as is the message, there is a need to persrvere in these hard times. The dress and the car are sublime. Would love to join that after party!

I love this idea and execution!
ReplyDeleteThe dress is super cool and comfy, and the shoes are perfect. I didn't care for the shoes at a recent engagement, but see them in a completely different light at this time, place, occasion.

Nice idea how the dress matches the cars design. The shape of the dress itself is really nice. The green shoes match the dress very good. Good style. But I think, she could do better with her hair.
