Danish Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary's eldest son, Prince Christian, 15, moved into Herlufsholm's boarding school in Næstved on August 10, 2021. New official photos were released by the Danish Royal Court on the occasion of the first day of the Prince at Herlufsholm School.
Prince Christian was photographed standing with his parents in front of the school's picturesque building. Herlufsholm, which was founded in 1565 as a boarding school for Danish nobility, is the only school in Denmark with a compulsory uniform.
Wish you successful studies and enjoy the place.
ReplyDeleteHe has grown into a handsome young man, he looks very smart in his school uniform. Mum and Dad look very proud. I like this dress on Princess Mary.
ReplyDeleteQuinze ans déjà et c'est un charmant jeune homme à qui je souhaite d'obtenir de bons résultats dans ses études ; très joli le petit imprimé de la robe de Mary mais j'aimerais quand-même en voir un peu plus !
ReplyDeletemary loooks old and tired
ReplyDeleteLOL!
DeleteFatiguée peut-être mais vieille ?!
DeleteOh come on!
DeleteNo, she doesn't.
DeleteI'm not sure what you see but I think she looks happy and proud and certainly much younger than nearly fifty.
DeleteNo, it's your glasses that are old and tired.
DeleteTime for a visit to the optometrist no?
p.s. love Princess Mary's frock.
I agree that she does look older, she probably reached that age where you start looking like the age range you're in. Aging is normal and is good to see, she is nearly 50 years old so she just looks her age.

To the unknown. Green eyed monster..Mary is lovely natural she a mother.. elegant
DeleteHe is a very charming boy!
ReplyDeleteIn terms of Christian's security measures must have been taken at the campus.
ReplyDeleteIt stated that is was a boarding school for Danish nobility. So I figure there are all kinds of security already in place.
ReplyDeleteNo, Danish nobility does not range as the royals in Denmark. They might come from wealthy families but do not have security (PET) like Prince Christian has. When he started in kindergarden a house for the guards were built to follow him non stop. And the same measures were taken when he went to school. A PET head quarter is also present at the palace in Copenhagen.
DeleteAlways an relaxed family.
ReplyDeleteA nice eldest son growing into an attractive man!
Hope they learn him how to dress properly better than his father!

ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing too.
The first thing I thought when I saw his uniform was he must be going to Harry Potter School, LOL. I think Mary's dress is great. She looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteChel
Yes, Prince C is a Harry Potter look a-like without glasses.
DeleteAnd without much make-up styling CP Mary looks the age she has, 50 next year.
Herlufsholm's boarding school is a controversial choice for several reasons, so there was no press/media- session …… the pics are taken by the royal house before his first day .

What a big moment for Christian and his parents--and his siblings too. Christian looks so grown up suddenly--he's already quite tall and I bet he will get taller--and is quite handsome in his uniform. Mary and Fred look great--Mary's dress is very pretty and she looks terrific. All the best to Christian on this new chapter in his life!
ReplyDeletePrince Christian looks good, nice uniform, the buttons are a stand out; well uniforms are important, the students look like something, also when these young men leave school and go into business, or into society they already know how to dress; it becomes part of their normal. Uniforms are expensive initially; but wearing designer sneakers and sweat tops are more expensive.
ReplyDeleteProud Mum and Dad ! Christian is taller than his Dad ! Wishing him happy times in this new chapter of his life ! Ana
ReplyDeleteChristian looks much older than just 15.... At least in these pics...
ReplyDeleteHe's just so cute!!
ReplyDeleteHe looks very smart in his school uniform. It suits him.
