This week, Norwegian Crown Prince family's dog, Muffin, died due to cancer. The family is mourning the death of their Labradoodle, Muffin, who was 8 years old. Crown Princess Mette-Marit shared the news and several photos showing their dog with her family, which were taken during their last holiday, on her Instagram account.
Her caption was as the following: “This week, our dog Muffin died from cancer. The whole family’s fun urchin and best friend was born at home in the living room. Ever since she came into the world, she has been a natural center of our lives. She has always given us love, comfort and laughter.”
Muffin was the daughter of the family’s other dog, Milly. Milly gave birth to a litter of nine pups at the Crown Prince family’s home on June 15, 2013.
ReplyDeleteThe full name of the dog was Muffins Kråkebolle (the latter is Norwegian for ‘urchin’), so that explains why M-M used that word to talk about her dog:)
ReplyDeleteMuff looks pretty cute, great memories; so pick yourself up dust yourself off, head straight to the dog rescue centre; as there will be some little pooch needs a home. You have had some good times and memories. ;a dog lover
ReplyDeleteWould you say the same if it was a human? Is it so easy to replace one member of the family, dog, cat, human being or whatever?
DeleteSad news...
ReplyDeleteHe was a very pretty and loving dog.
I hope they can adopt another pooch.

Having lost our precious cat in June (who was 16 years old), I grieve with the family over the loss of their beloved Muffin. Muffin was adorable.

Question ?? When will Queen Maxima be back in town?
Missing her a lot.
Beautiful dog and clearly adored by all. It is heartbreaking when the pass away of old age, but to be taken at only 8 is so sad.
ReplyDeleteSuch sad news. I grieve with the family.
