Crown Princess Elisabeth of Belgium, Duchess of Brabant, will study at Lincoln College, which is part of Oxford University, from October 2021. The 19 years old Crown Princess passed the entrance exams for a three-year program in History & Politics.

The United Kingdom is not unfamiliar for the Princess. In May 2020, she obtained her International Baccalaureate from UWC Atlantic College in Wales. King Philippe and Queen Mathilde shared a new photo of their eldest daughter, Crown Princess Elisabeth.

    Beautiful picture.
    Good for her to go to Oxford, she can study there more anonimously than in Belgium, and she learns to speak English more fluently. Hope she has a great time there!

    There are so many good universities in the U.K that are recognised around the world. Princess Elizabeth will meet lots of students from across the world; and make some wonderful friends.

      If Elisabeth decided to attend a Belgian university, it will cause debates and possibly controversies between the Flemish and the Walloon as well as the Catholics and the liberals. As a future monarch, she has to stay neutral and prevent such things from happening. Choosing university overseas is the way to go.

      Besides - Oxford is the best university in the world. Who in their right mind would turn down an offer to study at the best university in the world (after working hard in high school and underwent rigorous admission tests), especially if they know they can financially access it? - E.

      Certainly for her , in her special position, which will hardly get any attention in the UK . For Elisabeth a sensible choice.
      You cannot deny that Oxbridge is recognized as one of the best in the world.
      Nothing bad said of Belgium!

    Princess Elizabeth looks wonderful in the second picture, never liked that red dress and hat. And I believe her Jeans are not ripped, although I can't be too sure!
