The Countess of Wessex and Princess Alexandra visited Bristol to open the new Guide Dogs centre. Princess Alexandra has stepped down as Patron of the charity Guide Dogs, after more than sixty years in the role. During the visit, Princess Alexandra handed over the Patronage of Guide Dogs, which she has held since 1957, to The Countess of Wessex. Guide Dogs is a founding member of the International Guide Dogs Federation.

ReplyDeleteO how lovely!
ReplyDeleteAlexandra knows how to dress!
Exquisite!

As always, Princess Alexandra looks beautiful. The pink jacket and pink hat trim keep her outfit from looking wintry. I'm guessing that summer in the UK is cooler than here in the US. Sophie looks very pretty. The print of the skirt looks very summery, but the white blazer is a bit snug through the midriff, and, I think, would look better unbuttoned with a colored blouse .
ReplyDeleteSophie looks great today and always a treat to see Princess Alexandra...what an elegant lady!

Lovely to see Princess Alexandra. She looks as smart as always, though I’m not mad about the shape of the hat. Very minor complaint as it’s so good to see her . Great to see her teaming up with the Cohntess of Wessex as well. Like Sophie ‘s skirt, though it’s too long again. Much better with the white jacket than on the previous outing.
ReplyDeleteTwo stylish, elegant ensembles. Brava to the Princess and Countess for coordinating their looks.
ReplyDeleteWhile I love both fashion statements, my style award is presented to P Alex for her delightful hat.

Yes, isn't the hat stunning. The whole outfit is really flattering and lovely. And I think C. Sophie looks very good too. She suits a well-tailored jacket. (V.M.)
