On June 11, 2021, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands paid a working visit to the "Special Olympics National Games" on the Zuiderpark Sports Campus in The Hague. Special Olympics is a global organization that serves athletes with intellectual disabilities working with hundreds of thousands of volunteers and coaches each year. The Queen Maxima visited a sports hall where she spoke with athletes with a mental disability and their supervisors about their experiences and the importance of exercising together. The Queen also took part in various sports activities.

    J'aime beaucoup quand je regarde la photo de près de l'imprimé fleuri estival, rafraîchissant de cette combinaison - A mon humble avis, ce sont les jambes trop larges de celle-ci qui ne flattent pas du tout Maxima ; il est vrai que là, c'est idéal pour jouer au bowling !!

      To me, the shoes do not improve the overall look, particularly the red color, I would prefer beige. Not fan of it.

    I think the lower half of the jumpsuit is too small and that is why it doesn’t flow as smoothly as it seems to do on the model

    Except for the huge buckle of this belt, I like this cheerful outfit very much and think that it is a very good and thoughtful choice for this occasion, at this venue, with these people. She looks, as most of the time, happy to be where she is, doing what she is doing. (-Ann.)

      I agree. I just don't like the shoes with this outfit. They look a bit like stelts. Other shoes would have been better.

    The print of the jumpsuit is too busy, flowers head to toe is too much, the espadrille don't go with the outfit, a slim red belt would have been better choice, I do not like the large buckle nor the dangling red earring, they look cheap. Unfortunately I don't have any positive comment to make about this outfit.

    This is a jumpsuit that is perfect for the season, but it has been Maximized.
    That belt is wrong on every level. Please. Stop. Wearing. Belts. She should be able to wear this successfully, provided she is wearing the proper size and has accessorized well. Maxima should have taken cues from the model in this case. She would have looked infinitely better. There is enough color in the jumpsuit.
    This was not the time to add more color with a bag and shoes. With her height and shoe size, I think these shoes are too much. A neutral shoe that is not as clunky would have looked better. This was also the time for simple earrings. The only way she could have sabotaged herself more would have been to wear the shawl. ~d

    If it were the A line skirt, I'd gladly wear it. Print looks lovely and cheerful. But for the jumpsuit its too much and too busy.
    Maxima's hair...hehhhh, not a nice sight for the Queen.

    Oh well. I like it - love the print and it's very Maxima. I like the earrings as well.

    I think the shoes are totally wrong in both colour and style. Hair really awful but she doesn't seem to notice.
