The aim was to enable young people to restore their mutual, lasting bonds and help them to harness the forces they had to use during the pandemic crisis to get out of it and regain confidence in themselves and in the future.

Another day, another Natan monstrosity. This dress does not do anything for Mathilde, in fact the contrary: she looks heavy and matronly. Why do these women not hire a stylist? It is a wellknown fact that Mary of Denmark has one and she is always dressed stylishly, fashionably and her clothes suit her!

    1. I agree Mathilde needs a good stylist, and this dress is a miss. The pleated sleeves and top bother me the most.
It looks better on the model, but that is not a good comparison since we know most models are overly thin. Mathilde needs a good taylor/ seamstress imo.
Mary of Denmark is slender like a model and therefore a lot easier to dress, but I disagree that she is "always" stylisch, she has worn some pretty strange outfit's too on occasion.

  3. O dear Mathilde... you are a lovely woman but Natan again (!) doesn't suit you at all. Get rid of him, send him back to his desert island. Pity he had the bad idea to come back again.
The colour is good but the whole cut makes her look much bigger than she is. What a pity.

    1. I see this repeated criticism about Natan; I think there is wide choice in its collection. It is up to her to make the good choice. However, the task has become increasingly difficult for her in view of her "new" morphology. She should probably take some (only some!) inspiration from Camilla regarding essential design aspects which have an impact on the look of women with "some" weight. She definitely has to abandon "inflating" characteristics (both design and colors).

The Norwegian royal court has released new official portraits of King Harald and Queen Sonja and they’re really beautiful. I’m hoping that there will be a blog post with those photos.

It's not the worst dress ever, but certainly not the best either. The shape is flattering, the colour is really nice but the fabric is all wrong. She should really try other Belgian brands than Nathan.

  7. I think the dress is really beautiful, but it is totally wrong for Mathilde. This is a great style for someone very slender, but on Mathilde, it just makes her hips look huge.

I really like this dress and its ease is very suitable for Q Mathilde and this TPO (time, place, occasion).

The colour story is energetic and fantastic, a fun interplay of orange red and magenta pink (as it appears on my screen).

Allover pleats are uncommon, and I really like the geometry at the sleeve. Nice movement in the skirt as well.

Well done, Q Mathilde, well done!

I agree with you, Bepa, stunning in every way. Very flattering for her figure, young and fresh looking while being elegant. Shoes are elegant and match well. S.M.

I actually adore this dress and generally do not like Natan (which sets me apart from Queens!) This is very intelligent design which is flowing while tailored and the colors are excellent. QM is always confident and she carries this off beautifully.

A woman of Mathilde's age I think the dress looks nice. It is age appropriate. Mary I

I don’t think the dress flows very well. It looks almost round on Q. Mathilde, particularly in the sleeves, which in turn makes her look rounder/fuller than she is. The colours are gorgeous though, and she’s accessorized well. (V.M.)

I'm in agreement that this is a beautiful dress but on the appropriate type of figure, not Mathildes. I also like the colour very much.

Well, the dress looks nicely on the model, but is not flattering for Mathilde.
    Pity.

Ugh. The waist of this dress is sitting on her hips, not on her waist. Then the pleated skirt flares out from there. She does not have an easy body to dress. She desperately needs a professional to help educate her, and an excellent tailor to make some of these frocks look better (if it is possible). I like the colors very much, which might be what drew her to this dress in the first place. ~d
