Plain and simply put, all the ladies look lovely and summery: Queen Margarethe, Princess Benedikte and the lady in the brown polka dot dress - perfect.
Special mention to two more ladies - one with the brown roses in her hair and the other one carrying a bag in one hand and a shawl in the other, walking behind Queen Margarethe in one of the photos.
Style can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be, but properly fitting clothes make all the difference.

  5. Very nice summer dresses. I like Margrethe´s pink purse, and I like the slightly different hair style. The matching coat should really bother me, but it doesn´t. Normally, I´d say too much print, but the whole look is structured and the coat is so light and breezy, I like it. It´s also a very good length for the whole outfit. Any longer (midi or maxi) would be too much.
Benedikte is very classy as always.
I like to see the sisters together, and clearly enjoying the performance.

  6. Love seeing these two together. They seem to enjoy each others company. Like the bright colour of the Queen's dress but Princess Benedikte's simple, elegant shift dress is fantastic--and love her matching shoes too. Just great

    1. If there were a prize to be given out for the best dressed of the day, I think Princess Benedikte would win by a small margin.
But then she has the advantage of having an allure of class to help her.
I hope Queen Anne-Marie can joing her two sisters for their traditional summer vacance in France this year.

  7. Queen Margrethe's dress and jacket are very pretty, and complimented by her colorful beaded necklace. And, of course, who could miss her gorgeous engagement ring!? Princess Benedikte's red shift is beautiful. However, her long pearl necklace interferes with the floral embellishment of the dress. I also noticed that the sisters' nail color is the same. Do you think they had a manicure party? :-)

  8. La Reine Margrethe a un très joli ensemble de mousseline turquoise et fleurs d'oeillets. Elle devrait opter comme sa soeur pour une coiffure plus moderne.
