  2. Beautiful in blue! HM looks so pretty--big, bright smile too. Love how she's wearing blue and white on her first engagement in Scotland--William too (although he's still apparently a member of the blue suit brigade). And, the Pearl Trefoil looks beautiful on her blue coat.

I fear being a member of the blue suit brigade is a life long commitment. ~d

    2. Pearl trefoil? All I can see is the badge of the Royal Regiment of Scotland.

I agree Jane. That blue coat is the perfect background for both brooches. William does look great in blue, especially coordinating with the Queen. He’s just radiating respect and admiration for his Grandmother. Great seeing them together.

  5. And the Earl of Strathearn clearly learning the ropes here , in particular The Ceremonies of the Keys. He can't have a better teacher than Her Majesty.

  6. Lovely blue coat and hat. And of course, there's the Duke with his furrowed brows. Furrowed brows in almost every photo I see of him.

Irn Bru; is a good drink, made from girders. Her Majesty is looking lovely, the blue is nice and bright. Prince William is an excellent support to Her Majesty. I don't see the press hounding them. The workers at the factory had a good chat to Queen Elizabeth.

    1. "made from girders"... that was an advertising slogan once. Of course, it's not made of anything like steel. It contains large amounts of sugar, artificial flavours and colourings, some of which are extremely unhealthy, if not dangerous, and also carcinogen. The company was asked several times to not add that substances, but as no deadline was given they still use them. It would not recommend drinking it.
