On June 16, King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway visited Hyllestad municipality in Sogn, Vestland. Hyllestad is a municipality in the county of Vestland. The King and Queen went ashore on the quay at the Havyard Leirvik shipyard in Hyllestad municipality. The King and Queen had a conversation about the Hyllestad community related to business, restructuring, new opportunities for the shipbuilding industry and other industries, as well as the situation during the pandemic in the municipality.
I am surprised by the queen's mantle/cape.
ReplyDeleteLove love love this red outfit on Q Sonja!♥️ The cape is perfect with the scarf and together with the white trousers, everything suits her very well. //MC

Yes, the whole outfit looks great. A poncho/cape like this isn’t easy to wear but Q. Sonja carries it off with panache! (V.M.)
I think it looks like is a real rain cape not just a fashion item. Those children look as if their hair is very wet and when she steps out of that overhanging shelter the way she is looking up looks a bit like she is checking if it is still raining.
ReplyDeleteI gess you skipped the visit the day before in Flaam and the visit the day after in Floroe. The last two days have been a lot of rain. So yes, this was a gloomy day. QS had pull out her southwest rain hat on the last if their 3 day tour. Nice to see that we are getting back to normal duties out and about. These two are just adorable. Sandy.
