On June 8, 2021, Queen Maxima paid a working visit to the Zwolle region as a member of the Netherlands Entrepreneurship Committee. The visit focused on regional cooperation in the field of the economy and the labor market against the background of the corona crisis. Queen Maxima took part in three conversations at the Leisure Park Beerze Bulten and family camping site in Beerze. Queen Maxima wore a silk twill dress from Jan Taminiau.

Joli mélange de couleurs qui s'accordent très bien mais avec un petit décolleté en V et une ceinture plus fine ton sur ton en faisant blouser le haut, elle serait magnifique ; un léger rafraîchissement dans sa coiffure ?!

ReplyDeleteThe dress: a No from me. Why wear autumn colors in the summer? Even in autumn I wouldnt like this dress, looks old fashioned, dowdy.
ReplyDeleteThe hair: better than usual. jj
I don't mind autumn colors; matchy-matchy with the bear.
DeleteBut... you'd think that the man who is photographed with Máxima for possibly the one-and-only time in his life could have sent his suit out for a good pressing before the big occasion (but at least his tie is straight).
Oh, and Máxima's white bra is visible, especially on zooming in.

Phew! I had this horrid premonition that Maxima might have found the polka dot outfit worn by the Spanish lady in the previous post. This, seems tame in comparison. It's okay, but I'm not a big fan both because of the autumnal palette and the stripy skirt.
ReplyDeleteIt is actually very nice summer weather in Holland: strange choice of dress.

A reuse ... No, I don't like it : colors, unattractive design ...
ReplyDeleteI like it. I know the horizontal stripes add width to the hips, but I think the beautiful flowiness of the silk makes up for this. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteWhen she first wore it a couple of years ago, I hoped she'd never wear it again. Sorry, big no from me.
ReplyDeleteBut she's recycling - and that's a good thing.
O and Laurel: The matchy-matchy with the bear made me laugh. Nice one!
