On June 18, Crown Princess Victoria received the UNDP's Assistant Administrator and Director of the Bureau, Ulrika Modéer and UNDP's Sweden representative Caroline Aberg, at Haga Castle and attended a meeting relating to "UN Development Programme" with them. During the meeting, the Crown Princess received information about the global situation concerning the covid-19 pandemic, how the pandemic affects global development and the challenges that exist in achieving the global sustainability goals.
Rodebjer Adania silk floral blouse and Irmaline floral print skirt
I like this large floral print, youthful and fresh (like summer itself).

The dress is certainly very summery—- I feel like I’m in a cottage garden—- but maybe just a little overpowering?
ReplyDeleteThe skirt is too long and the blouse with long sleeves is too heavy. Simple short sleeves with a shorter skirt would be oodles better. The print is gorgeous. - Ellie
ReplyDeleteI presume you have seen other pictures other than on this blog of how Victoria looks in this dress. Otherwise I can't see how you can arrive at this decision. For myself I usually have an aversion to floral anything but think she looks really good in this dress and there is nothing more fun than flouncing around in ones own house in an almost floor length flappy, flowing silky dress preferably on bare feet if one can.
DeleteIs it Princess Victoria's birthday?
ReplyDeleteThe dress looks like it was a present to Princess Victoria from Queen Maxima :-))
ReplyDeleteI think I´d like the top and the skirt as separates - each combined with a fitted plain white garment would make for a wonderful summer outfit.
ReplyDeleteBut together as a dress, it´s way too much. Too much fabric, too much print. She´s drowning in it. The sleeves pushed up help a bit but still.
Yes it is a long dress... impressive... but?
ReplyDeleteI can't remember one creation of Rodebjer that I really liked. This one won't brake the cicle.
ReplyDeleteThe print is very flattering on CP Victoria, and I like the neckline - not too high. From what I can see, it’s a winner. (V.M.)
