Queen Mathilde took part in an online meeting with the six finalists of the Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition 2021. The online meeting was about their preparation and participation in the competition. The finalists will stay in the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel to prepare for the finals week which will take place from 24 to 29 May at BOZAR Brussels.
Each day one of them will perform a concerto of their own choice as well as the unpublished and compulsory work of Bruno Mantovani "D’un jardin féérique" written for this year's competition, with the Belgian National Orchestra, conducted by Hugh Wolff. The performances of the finalists will be broadcast live on the internet, on radio and on television. Queen Mathilde is patron of the competition.
What a beautiful soft colour! I like it a lot and it looks great on her.
ReplyDeleteThe skirt is way too tight though.
Right you are
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely shade of blue in a non-flattering blouse, tucked into matching blue pants that are too small; the seam is gaping under pressure. I find she would benefit from tops that are on the pants instead tucked in. But the colour is lovely. - Ellie

ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks lovely in this shade of blue, a natural woman at her best.
ReplyDeleteThe color is wonderful on her but Natan does not ever seem to fit her properly.
