Queen Elizabeth spoke to lifesavers and researchers from the Royal Lifesaving Society organisation via video call last week. The Royal Life Saving Society works in 30 Commonwealth nations to combat preventable death by drowning, and promote water safety and lifesaving education. It was founded in London in 1891 to combat the hundreds of drowning that was happening all over England at the time. The Queen has been a patron of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution since 1952.
The Queen in conversation with the Royal Life Saving Society
Cette nuance de couleur parme va à ravir à la reine surtout quand elle est associée avec les perles de ses boucles d'oreilles et de son collier à trois rangs ; jolie sa petite mise en plis neigeuse !
ReplyDeleteLove the Queen and that is an understatement! Such an example. Despite the heavy loss of her husband of 73 years, she puts service above all else and continues her public duties. Her casual dress is perfect for this particular Zoom call.
ReplyDeleteShe should have "nixed" the pearls. They don't sit properly on the blouse and sweater. Otherwise, very neat attire.
DeleteAgree with Virginia! Again "less would be more"
DeleteI love the second photo of HM. She looks relaxed and even as if she's enjoying the chat ! 95 years of age and embracing technology and the new era of communication !

Agree, Ana. The second photo is as relaxed as I have seen in these calls. She is an inspiration and it’s wonderful to see her
DeleteLovely woman, real dedication to her 'job in life', whether she wanted it or not, she's done a fantastic job with few stumbles.
ReplyDeleteHer Majesty Queen Elizabeth looks lovely the blue suits her. The Royal Life Saving Society is so important especially in a country like Australia ;it is special that Her Majesty is the patron to encourage all young people.
ReplyDeleteLove the Queen always so regal. Mary I
