On Tuesday, the people of Jordan celebrated their country’s 75th Independence Day. In 1946, the country known as the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan became a sovereign state. King Abdullah, Queen Rania, Crown Prince Hussein, Princess Salma, Prince Hashem and a number of Royal family members and senior officials and officers attended the official 75th Independence Day ceremony at Raghadan Palace.
Stunning Rania! I love these native dresses on her, she looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAnd beautiful children they have!
ReplyDeleteI love all the dresses, beautifully coordinated.

Queen Rania's hair looked lovely. Also really great shoes that went well with the dress which I generally liked except for the sleeves. I'm sorry they weren't my thing. Princess Salma choose a very stylish dress – I really loved how the black was broken up by the embroidered panels. ~~S
ReplyDeleteAll the ladies are beautifully and most appropriately dressed for this important national celebration. I'm especially happy to see Princess Muna, King Hussein's British born mother. She is looking great for 80 (what we can see), and is beautifully dressed in the same traditional style as her daughter-in-law and granddaughter. Queen Rania looks wonderful as she usually does.
ReplyDeleteThe three key men are equally smartly dressed; the two princes cut a dashing look with their dark western suits and traditional red and white head coverings with black bands. Another very good looking royal family.

King Abdullah's mother... the late King Hussein's second wife.
DeleteOoops...that should be King Abdullah's mother, not King Hussein.

Stunning as always. Love her hair. Mary I
