Dress and earrings are nice, but the coat is swallowing her and is a complete mismatch with the dress.
ReplyDeleteI love the dress but the oversized jacket is not working at all. This trend is not for every occasion...or dress. /SF
ReplyDeleteThe dress is for spring/summer and the coat is for winter.
DeleteNot a good combination, in my opinion.
This dress is boring, looks dated and ages her a lot. Victoria needs stronger colours, she looks so much better in solid jewel tones than in these drab colours and petty design. The combination with the coat works, but only because the coat covers so much of the dress, so we don´t have to see it.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it´s at all possible to make the dress look contemporary and fresh. Maybe some super casual summer styling might work with flat sandals, undone bow ribbons and hair down in a boho-kind of way. But this styling with the bun in particular, the grandma style tight bow and invisible make-up it just looks like an uptight 60year old librarian - in the 70s.
I like the coat, it looks comfortable and feminine, can be styled in many different ways and combined with both casual and formal outfits. Shoes and clutch are fine, earrings nice. Hairstyle - same old.
I love the coat; the big collar, the coziness, it just looks like a hug in a coat form. The dress is a huge no for me. The colors are ok, but the style is way too aging. Gorgeous earrings and shoes.

I like the coat very much
Delete... I still like the coat, which by the way is not a winter coat, but a all-around-the-year-coat to wear according to weather conditions, and this year ... Regarding the dress she should wear the neckline like the model instead of closely tied up.
DeleteI like the coat :)
ReplyDeleteVictoria is doing well with her clothing. The dress is classic and looks good, as well as the shoes and bag. The coat while not a personal preference, is the style women in Europe are wearing at the moment. Victoria, keeps it close to her body, and maybe it's warmer and she wants the warmth on a cool rainy day, who knows... Love this woman, her dedication to life work, keeping a family moving forward together as well as interacting with the many areas she is involved with in her position. Good job Victoria.
ReplyDeleteIMO the ruffles of the dress don't go well together with the contemporary style of the jacket (which I do like).

It’s just a mismatch of everything (style, thickness of the fabrics, formality) plus the always puzzling hairdo. It feels like she just picked up a dress and a coat from the hallway closet and rushed out. She has the occasional good showing, but honestly she isn’t a style astute lady. People with so much lower income manage to be so much more put together. It’s a pitty.
