On the UN's World Biodiversity Day that takes place on May 22, 2021, the WWF World Wide Fund for Nature and Crown Princess Mary launched a new digital project on nature that aims to bring Danes together to share their nature photos and experiences under the hashtag #ForNaturenWWF on Instagram - preferably with a short text about where it was taken. The project will end on June 11, 2021 and kicks off with the theme ‘Forest and Land’, and every Saturday a new theme will be started.
The Crown Princess and the WWF World Wide Fund for Nature experts will comment on selected photos. Thus, WWF's experts will contribute to the project with exciting stories about the different places, animal and plant species that the Danes have portrayed. The background for the project is, among other things, the Red List 2019, which shows that Danish animal, plant and fungal species have not improved since 2010, and that many species are still at risk of extinction.
Crown Princess Mary took office in 2020 as president of the WWF World Wide Fund for Nature. Since then, the Crown Princess is at the forefront of the foundation's work to preserve the animals' habitats and the diversity of nature.
Quel magnifique projet numérique - J'aime beaucoup la tenue décontractée de Mary dans ce cadre verdoyant surtout son chemisier de couleur lilas clair qui contraste bien avec la couleur de ses cheveux !
ReplyDeleteA beautiful and natural outfit of Princess Mary. The picture is beautiful against the background of greenery. A good and needed initiative.
ReplyDeleteEyebrows are too heavy looking. Current trend is to use liquid or pencil color to fill in and create an eyebrow shape with a sharp outline. I don't think CP Mary needs it, certainly here it is too large, too dark. S.M.
ReplyDeleteWhy would you find something to say about her eyebrows! She Looks lovely happy and natural.
DeleteThe eyebrows are part of how her make-up was applied. Compare these photos with photos of Mary at Christian's confirmation on May 16 and you will notice a difference. I found the eyebrows noticeably different. Sorry if that offends you. S.M.
DeleteI'm not offended by your comment, just find it a strang thing to talk about. It's not like she has a monobrow! But if that's what you focus on that's ok. I'm sorry if you felt it was criticism.
DeleteA very nice casual outfit for Mary in the outdoors. Can never go wrong with linen or cotton, or a blend of the two, for the Spring and Summer.

Crown Princess Mary always looks splendid no matter what the occasion is. Whether it is a gala, lecture or just being outdoors enjoying nature.
ReplyDeleteSo agree with Fitzhugh CP Mary looks great no matter what the occasion. Love this casual country look. Mary I
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw this, I thought it was the Duchess of Cambridge, as it reminded me of her (I think my mind just filled in the face from similar outfits and nature settings). But CP Mary looks beautiful here, the beauty of the natural setting is just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteChel
Exactly my thoughts when I saw these pictures.
DeleteFor many years now I've thought that the two of them are very similar in their physical looks as well as their sartorial styles and choices. Very similar indeed.

She should work on not reading from a teleprompter
