On Thursday, April 29, Swedish Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine paid an online visit to the Philisa Abafazi Bethu Family Center in Cape Town, South Africa. The center is one of several that receive support from the World Childhood Foundation. Childhood supports projects around the world, one of which is the Philisa Abafazi Bethu Family Center located in Lavender Hill outside Cape Town.
During the online meeting, the Queen and the Princess, together with Childhood's board, met the center's founder Lucinda Evans. Until today, Lucinda Evans worked to help abandoned children, abused women and children who have been sexually abused. Philisa Abafazi Bethu SA is a nonprofit organization founded in 2008. The organization advocates the rights of women who are victims of domestic and intimate partner violence. The organization also has a strong child protection focus.
ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia and Madeleine both look great here, their smiles are just so beautiful.

I like Princess Madeleine; she is a good support to Queen Silvia. As Duchess Catherine and Princess Mary have a deep concern for Mothers and children these ladies should get together, rather than each small group dealing with a problem; as a collective they would be more effective.
