Queen Rania of Jordan visited Al Yusra Women Charity Society in Madaba’s Al Faisaliah village, where The Queen met with its board of directors to learn about economic empowerment programs for women and discuss ways to support the society’s efforts in improving livelihoods for local families.
Queen Rania also spoke with some members and beneficiaries about how they work to enhance the society’s projects, particularly those involving the cultivation of fragrant plants used in medicinal home remedies. Established in 2009 as a multidisciplinary organization, Al Yusra Women Charity Society aims to support local women by building their capacities and offering them economic empowerment opportunities.
Even with her face mostly covered by her mask Queen Rania looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteI applaud her for so often showcasing her country's national textile handicraft, traditional artistry and designs in the clothes she wears. She gets it right every time in her sartorial choices when supporting or reaching out to her people, either in a modern or traditional way.

Exactly what I thought, Anon 9:13. Fully agree. And yes, Rania is beautiful.
DeleteThe three ear piercings are two too many. Lovey outfit she is wearing.
ReplyDeleteWhy are they too many?

She looks so beautiful here. That dress is gorgeous. Her hair in a ponytail, looking rather natural. And her makeup, very minimal. A very refreshing change to the ultra glamorous we normally see. But this is spectacular.

Quel bon choix que cette tenue traditionnelle aux dessins très colorés. Je ne suis pas certaine d'avoir bien vu ses boucles d'oreilles entourées de piercings qui me semblent superflus ; ravissante quand-même !
ReplyDeleteI have been impressed with commitments of Queen Rania to empowering women in Jordan and around the world for a long time.
ReplyDeleteMe too, Yumiko!
DeleteI love this dress, the Queen looks stunning.
