Princess Takamado visited "Japan's Grand Prize International Orchid and Flower Show 2021" at Tokyo Dome City’s Prism Hall. Japan's Grand Prize International Orchid and Flower Show 2021 is organized by the Yomiuri Shimbun and NHK. The work of Haruyuki Kato from Kanagawa Prefecture was deemed worthy for the prize.
Orchids are called “ran” in Japanese, and many visitors took photos of “Spring ‘Ran’ Way,” a display of 30,000 Japanese orchid flowers of the Ebine variety that bloom in many colors, such as purple and orange. The show started in 1991 and has grown into one of the world's largest floral events, with a specific focus on orchids.
ReplyDeletePrincess Takamado is always very smartly dressed and I really like the colour and the cut of this suit. The bag and mask add a fun pop of pink.
ReplyDeleteI am a relatively recent newcomer to this blog. From what I have seen to date, I think Princess Takamado is one of the most stylish dressers in the Japanese Royal Family. Her daughter is always very fashionable too. This suit is a lovely shade of green, and as mentioned above, her pink mask and bag are perfect complements. Do I see a bit of pink in her jewelry too?
ReplyDeleteLovely smart suit in a great colour. Appreciate the understated but always smart formal outfits worn by this lady. Some of her European counterparts could use her as a role model.
ReplyDeleteTwo masks... how can she even breathe? ~Laurel~
