Princess Alexandra attended the closing day of Televie 2021

Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg participated in the online "Televie Luxembourg 2021" charity event with a video message. During the video message, Princess Alexandra thanked the donors for their contributions to cancer and leukemia research. Over €10 million was raised at this year’s "Televie" and will go to benefit cancer research. Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg is the patron of Televie 2021.

Started in 1989 by RTL-TVI in Belgium, and then introduced in 2002 by RTL Letzebuerg in Luxembourg, Televie raises a substantial amount of donations to support research in oncology. Since the establishment of the event in 1989, a total of more than €208 million has been collected.

    Quel plaisir de voir la princesse Alexandra - Excellente idée que d'avoir mis le côté droit de sa doublure rose fuschia à la vue de tout le monde, cela apporte une petite touche lumineuse !

    Love the splash of colour which puts life into an otherwise sombre outfit.
    I think she must be about 30 years old now and seems to keep her private life private. Good for her.
    After listening to the video, I assume that she is speaking Luxembourgish.
    If not, can someone correct me.
    Normally she would speak either German, French or English

      it is Luxembourgish indeed. It is an interesting language, quite close to German (it is in fact a germanic language), but with lots of French influence, for good measure ;-)

    This is the earliest photo of the Princess wearing the heart pendant (April 2021). Although it is not confirmed, because the pendant is beautifully displayed in the two engagement photos, many conclude that this a private gift between the engaged couple. Therefore, their relationship was mostly established early 2021. Two years and except for family they were unknown and private. Congratulations!
