Buckingham Palace announced that Prince Philip’s funeral will take place on April 17 in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, and a national minute’s silence will be observed as it begins at 3pm. The service will take place at Windsor Castle, taking into account the current COVID regulations. This means that there will be no public procession.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Funeral will take place on Saturday 17 April 2021 at 3pm in St George’s Chapel, Windsor. The Funeral Service will begin with a National Minute’s Silence at three o’clock. The service will be preceded by a ceremonial procession inside the grounds of Windsor Castle. The Funeral Service will be attended by Her Majesty The Queen and Members of the Royal Family. The event will be televised live.
RIP Prince Philip. I admired you honesty and bluntness. you added some comic relief to life.
