First reaction: generally speaking this is a classic business suit, very appropriate for the occasion but personally I don't like the cut of the trousers, not a flattering shape, even with Mary's slim figure, they make her hip area look large (note to myself to never wear such cut, if Mary cannot pull them off I would look utterly awful). The fabric seems to be thin and somehow gives vibes of not being of high quality given how wrinkly and misshapen the trousers are, especially in the knee area. All in all, a rare miss for Mary this time.

Off the fashion topic, her face looks different here, fuller on the cheeks and mouth area - sth that was noticed by some other commenters a few months ago in another occasion, which triggered speculations of fillers being used.

I too find her face appears a bit fuller of late.

You see what we all did a couple of months ago, she did get fillers in the cheek, mouth area, which made her look different, sad to say she feels the need to go down this slippery slope.

I agree, the suit seemed ok till I saw the pants: Too short, thin, wrinkly, and not a good fit. cali

    3. I will express different views, I am afraid. Yes the suit, although classic, has an innovative cut of trousers. This styling is still quite attractive, particularly for Mary. Fashion is no longer attractive with only unchanged shapes and styling.
Furthermore I am chocked by the repetitive criticism towards the use of aesthetic treatments, fillers etc. For the subject should be totally left to the personal choice of ladies (possibly sometimes men as well). If a person feels more comfortable with having these treatments, it is her right. Aging is bound to change faces, the wish to intervene or not should not be submitted to comments from any third party, it is not an evil act. Those who have it, have however to be aware of possible disappointment about the result.

I agree with MaryT. Aging can change our whole body, not just faces. I'm a year older than Mary. Personal experience dictates that hormonal changes can also change one's overall physical outlook hence why most women at this age opt to go for radical beauty treatments one way or another.

However, I don't think Mary's beauty regime extends to that intervention. If you look at her carefully, you can see subtle yet natural aging all over her face (over the years too) which is very wholesome and appealing. I believe she may have gotten some treatment such as cleansing or pampering which all women do but certainly not the rigorous or drastic kind.

  2. A classic suit, but it looks like it's too big for her.

  3. Smart business suit, but quite drab. Agree with E d'A that it's not the best fitted outfit she's ever worn. I like the bag, scarf and shoes. The fourth picture is a great shot of her.

I like that the pants are looser; however, Mary is entering Ice-cream Cone Pants territory. ~Laurel~

    1. It's just my taste but for trouser suits, I prefer baggy bottoms.
But for the baggy bottoms to look good, you have to wear exaggerated silhouette heels.
Oh, do people understand the pain we have to go through to look beautiful?
      My hubby certainly doesn't.

    2. Deadeggs, your comment made me laugh. It took me along time to teach my husband that there are shoes you wear and shoes you walk in and they are not necessarily the same thing!!

Yes the pants are not the greatest. I think her hair needs to be about shoulder length due to age factor it does not matter who you are but you can only wear long hair for a certain period of time. Although not to say it is nicely styled. Yes agree she has had work in her face this is evident. I always thought she looked better naturally. Mary I

  6. That looks like straight from the 80s: trousers both high-waisted and high-water, bulky on top and narrow further down, plus big shoulder pads to form those exaggerated, almost pointy shoulders and pushed-up sleeves. Not a good look, even if it had fit her better.

    Nice bouquet of flowers though.
(Her assistent (I assume) holding her flowers, three bags and two books wedged under her arm while fumbling her mask out of her hair is quite the multitasker. And on top of that she is dressed better than Mary.)

    1. I was just thinking "straight from the 80's" when I saw this picture too. Suit, bag. They say, everything old becomes new again, right? Lol.

  7. Well I like the way Mary is dressed but I think it is the light colour that makes it seem a bit loose and not a good fit. I don't like all the critical comments about' fillers'and 'work' it serves no point and just comes across as mean. I don't think she looks like she has had anything done, just my opinion.

I actually think the suit looks ok. It's retro a little, the 80's.
As for the different facial appearance, I do think she had some sort of filler. But it's her choice so whatever.
Although I felt that she's very pretty naturally so no need to go that route and embrace aging gracefully . But again it's her choice. Tilly
