On April 6, as ambassador and spokesperson of Chanel, Charlotte Casiraghi took part in the second traditional literary meeting at Rue Cambon in Paris. Animated by literary historian Fanny Arama, this conversation begins with the actress Lyna Khoudri reading an excerpt from 'Fille', Camille Laurens' latest novel. The writer then discusses her body of work, the female condition and the power of literature in the construction of a life.
Literary Rendezvous at rue Cambon invite Camille Laurens
ReplyDeleteAgree on the heels. Length of pants can only be judged in standing position. Elegant Charlotte.
DeleteHer elegance, comes from something beyond her clothes.
ReplyDeleteGrace kelly's jawline and raising her chin, creates a sense of timeless elegancy!
DeleteAgree with you, Carme. She is a stunning beauty and carries herself with grace and elegance.
DeleteShe looks beautiful. She is such a stunning woman. I love the little black cropped trousers. Since the trousers are so cropped,
ReplyDeleteI think the flats are the perfect choice. I also like the detail on the jacket, it adds interest without overpowering the jacket itself.

Simple chique, love her style here,

Nice jacket and setting. She looks uppity and bored. - Ellie
ReplyDeletePerhaps if you watch the video you'll see she isn't in the least bored (or uppity - dangerous word nowadays).
DeleteWhat a beautiful and intelligent lady!
ReplyDeleteUnderstated elegance!
ReplyDeleteYes!

She is probably what you would call the epitome of an elegant French woman. Although the term is quite clichéd, it is true here: Nothing is exaggerated, neither Charlotte's hair, her makeup, nor her jewelry. The blazer feminine, in a wonderful anthracite and made of good cloth. In addition, simply cut trousers that reveal some of her pretty ankles and flat shoes. Personally, I don't like mocassins that much and would have preferred ballerinas, but that's not decisive for the overall classic look.
ReplyDeleteThe only problem with the moccasins is that they are a rather heavy clunky type. A lighter looking version would have looked better.
DeleteAttractive but not worth gushing over.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is... but for her royal connection she wouldn't be the brand ambassador for Chanel.
