On March 12, 2021, Queen Elizabeth II has taken part in a virtual science showcase with British scientists, educators and schoolchildren to mark British Science Week, a celebration of the role played in UK society by science, technology, engineering and maths.
During the showcase, Her Majesty was joined by schoolchildren from Thomas Jones Primary School to hear from members of the Science Museum’s learning team, and saw first-hand how they have adapted their live experiments for remote learning.
The Queen was also shown the latest updates from NASA’s Mars Perseverance mission and the recent meteorite discovery in the UK by Professor Caroline Smith from the Natural History Museum.

ReplyDeleteHer Majesty looks beautiful. Her blue print dress with her pearls and quatrefoil brooch play nicely with her white hair and creamy complexion. I think it is wonderful that she has become quite adept at participating in these virtual appearances.

i know, i appreciate her even more. Her husband is in hospital, her grandson and son are embarrassing her beyond belief! but she remains smiling and getting on with her duty. While looking glamorous as always!

DeleteThe Queen is such a delight. I am in awe of everything she has seen and all the people she has met in her lifetime. As Debra said, the color and print of her dress, along with the pearls and brooch are lovely on her. The color of her hair always looks so pure and soft, never yellowed. Another perfect choice for a virtual meeting. ~d

Très intéressée, Sa Majesté est vraiment radieuse dans sa robe imprimée d'une teinte pastel qui lui va à ravir - Jolie coiffure avec ses cheveux qui font très neigeux et doux - J'aime beaucoup ses perles ainsi que sa broche mais j'aimerais mieux la voir !
