11-year-old Prince Henrik and 9-year-old Princess Athena have been living in Paris for two years with their parents, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, but there are still many places they have not been. Prince Joachim acted as guide when the prince's family was on tour in Paris. Last weekend, the prince's family was seen crossing Place Vendôme after a walk in a couple of the local shops.
Here one could see that Prince Joachim took the opportunity to tell the children about the pillar in the middle of the square. The Place Vendôme, earlier known as Place Louis-le-Grand, is a square in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. The original Vendôme Column at the centre of the square was erected by Napoleon I to commemorate the Battle of Austerlitz.

ReplyDeleteMarie really needs to wear the correctly. suzy
ReplyDeleteShe’s outdoors with her family so no need to wear masks unless you are in a crowd.
DeleteYou're wrong NESouthernbelle. In Paris the mask must always be worn outdoors.
Delete@NESouthernbelle face masks are required by law outdoors in Paris (as most cities in France) so yes, she should wear a mask properly. I will never understand why it is soooo difficult to put your nose in the mask and not outside..
DeleteYES In Paris the mask must always be worn outdoors and properly. Corona figures are again quite bad right now !!
DeleteIt is nice to see a clearly happy family :) Fashionwise nothing to say here , but it in this case it does'nt matter at all...
ReplyDeleteThey called the paps, didn't they?
ReplyDeleteAnne
Queen Margarethe has two sisters (Benedicte and Anne-Marie) but no brother.
DeleteThe family look lovely ;good to see them out and about. They seem to be exiled in France. The Danish throne is interesting. Due to changes in the constitution Queen Margrethe became Queen not her brother. The family all do good works.
ReplyDeleteThe Danish Queen has two younger sisters no brothers.
DeleteYou mean her uncle right? She has (and never had) a brother.
DeleteT
She never had any brother. Only two sisters.
DeleteQueen Margareth doesn't have a brother, only 2 sisters
