Gyalsey Ugyen Wangchuck of Bhutan celebrates his first birthday on March 19. On the occasion of the birthday, Bhutan Royal House released new photos of the Royal Family. These photos of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, Queen Jetsun Pema, Gyalsey Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck and Gyalsey Ugyen Wangchuck were taken at Lingkana Palace.
Gyalsey Ugyen Wangchuck was born on March 19, 2020 as the second child of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and his wife, Queen Jetsun Pema. He is the second in line of succession to the throne after his brother Crown Prince Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck. (Gyalsey means "prince").

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful spring environment for photos of this family. Though I understand their outfits, it does look like the King and elder son are in 'bathrobes'. Though very detailed, fancy ones. :) Lovely family!
ReplyDeleteThe dress is the national dress of Bhutan
DeleteCuteness overload ❤❤❤
ReplyDeleteThey have the best photos.

Adorable!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos of a happy, serene-looking family. It is very interesting how the eldest son takes completely after his father whereas the youngest is the copy of his beautiful mother. Spring is definitely in the air, and their outfits blend in so beautifully with the nature around them.

Happy Birthday to the little prince!
ReplyDeleteThe eldest son has grown so much; the King looks like he has lost a lot of weight; Queen Jetsun Pema looks as beautiful as ever. Love all the colours.
Wonderful photos of a lovely family.

The two boys clapping their hands are too cute! Beautiful pictures. How Jetsun Pemas pink clothes match the flowers is especially wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous family. Happy Birthday Prince Ugyen, I can't believe he's one already!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable. I’m not sure if I have ever seen the Queen in this shade of pink before. The color plays beautifully with the cherry blossom trees. She’s stunning.

Even the spring in Bhutan arrives with perfect taste. What a beautiful jacket and skirt. on the queen.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many royal kids who go mommy-n-me, it is very nice to see the King and the Crown Prince go daddy-n-me
ReplyDeleteBhutan is beautiful in spring, with cherry blossoms blooming everywhere. I am happy they took advantage of the scenery.

ReplyDeleteJust too beautiful for words.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday dear Prince Ugyen,
Some royal families have a special, regal presence. This is one of those families.
ReplyDeleteAnytime I need colour inspo, Bhutanese royals are one of my fave sources.
I adore the last photo where the little princes are saluting.

Beautiful family. I love their traditional wardrobes, and I think the Queen looks especially pretty in pink. It is seemingly obvious that they are a loving family. Happy birthday, Little Prince.
