On March 11, 2021, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa and Luxembourg's Minister of Education, Children and Youth, Claude Meisch, visited The Grand Duchess Maria Teresa Learning Development Centre (CDA) in Strassen. The CDA staff gave information about their daily activities to the Grand Duchess and the Education Minister. The Grand Duchess and the Minister also attended a speech therapy session.
They then attended an extracurricular group whose goal is to learn keyboard typing. Students enrolled in this group use an iPad in class, provided by the CDA. Finally, the Grand Duchess and the Minister visited the CDA documentation centre which contains many scientific works, didactic programmes and standardised tests. The Grand Duchess expressed gratitude, on behalf of teachers and parents, to the Education Minister and the representatives of the CDA.
When seated, I thought the Grand Duchess's look was very good. But when seen full length I find that the jacket is a bit of mess. The elongated lapel which falls below the hem of her jacket is perplexing, and the added pockets add bulk to her midsection. The woman in the yellow skirt and black sweater looks very nice, though the seemingly haphazard way her scarf is worn is a bit confusing. Not sure if it is one scarf or two.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the red jacket, Debra. After Queens Sofia and :Letizia appearing in lovely red jackets recently I thought this was a hat trick until I saw the full length photos. Colour great, neckline great, the rest of it, no thanks

I think she looks good here. That jacket is a great color for her. I do like the interesting shape of the lapels/folds. The jacket may be a little on the longer side for her shorter frame, but the belt helps with that. She seems to be wearing more interesting fashion lately, whether it be colors or visually interesting pieces.

She is not very tall so things tend to overwhelm her. The color is fabulous but the fit is boxy.
