For her secondary school studies, Dutch Princess Alexia will attend the United World College of the Atlantic (UWC Atlantic College) in Llantwit Major in Wales. There, she will pursue her International Baccalaureate. Now, Princess Alexia is in her fourth year at the Christelijk Gymnasium Sorghvliet in The Hague. The princesses’ time at school is private. Their parents expressly request that the media continue to respect their daughters’ privacy.
SANDRO Buttoned V-neck Straight Dress
is that the same place where princess Lenor of Spain is going to this summer. The same school in Wales that princess Elisabeth of Belgium attended. Wales seems popular with young royals
ReplyDeletemiss W
Yes, it is and it's the same school her dad, King Willem-Alexander, attended as well.

Not this summer, Princess Leonor will attend in September. ZA
DeleteGood luck with your studies. I love the dress.
ReplyDeleteEen rebelse puber?
ReplyDelete@17:46 - I didn't need Google Translate for your comment, haha. Let's just play it safe & say that Alexia was always said to be the more "spirited" of the three daughters. I wish her well. ~Laurel~
DeleteIs this the same school the Belgium princess attended and the Spanish princess will attend? W
ReplyDeleteYes, what an attractive school...
DeleteWaht means “an education, that is kept private”? LA
ReplyDeleteNonsense talk.
DeleteShe is at a school in the Hague that is a normal public school that anyone who has achieved a certain academic level can go to. The Dutch curriculum for the highest level of high school (Gymnasium) will have exactly the same choice of subjects as any other Gymnasium in the country with subjects like Latin, Greek, French, German, English, Mathematics A and B, Geography, History, Chemistry, physics and a host of other subjects. Of all these available subjects she would have picked a certain amount or type depending on which stream she is most interested in.
Her father also went to Wales because he too was "spirited" i.e. a normal teenager who did not always agree with his parents and whose parents did not always see eye to eye with him. I did not invent this it was the present Kings description of why he went there (once he was an adult) much later of course he spoke about it in an interview.
It means that they don't want the press to write stories about Alexia's time at boarding school or publish pictures other than the ones they are provided with, so that she can study and spend time with fellow students in peace. - L.
DeleteDid you read the blog post entry? "The princesses’ time at school is private. Their parents expressly request that the media continue to respect their daughters’ privacy." This means that when she is in school she is not on 'duty', she is a private person and media as well as paparazzi are not allowed to approach her or take photos. The same rule is applied for minors of other royal families.
DeleteI think anony L is right. And the parents are probably right in their choice.
DeleteAlexia is easily the best looking of the Dutch princesses. The school has a demanding curriculum. It's great that she can attend the same establishment that her Dad did,
ReplyDeleteA bit early to judge on "best looking one" I think; I tend to prefer the youngest daughter, Ariane.
DeletePrincess Alexia was a cute and cuddly baby. Well, time flies. She is going to college. I wish her all the best.
ReplyDeleteI love the way the Dutch royals protect their children. They grow up in a kind of private way. They are hardly seen in public in the contrary to the Spanish royal children ( maybe too often) and others. Royal young woman deserve to have more or less a life of their own for a number of years. Like Alexia who will have a life out of the spotlights in the UK now. mary
ReplyDeleteThey are hardly seen in public working...however this one has seen doing a lot of things, nobody is telling here, because we are avoiding them.
DeleteIt is not only about parents, it is about the people, in Spain we are not going to mantain people doing nothing.
Also, you must research about the fame this girl has in Europe...as others suggested...so "protect" maybe is not the proper word...
MS
Actually someone can end up saying nonsense .
DeleteThey should protect them and teach them what the Crown is..."hard work"...and discipline.
They will be royals and this needs a training...so maybe that is the protection...learning...
They are in a complicated age and lots of dangerous things are around.
Myself.
Private? Alexia has an instagram account where you can see her the whole day and doing and saying things that at 16 are not very...private. (maybe to often), speaking about clothes and parties
DeleteComments like that are the result of the ignorance
As someone said.."a rebel".
Someone.
Leonor of Spain is going to the same college in September, so I wonder about your comment, not only ignorant about both the girls if not malevolent. Sofia
DeleteHi ANonymous @ 10:20, i think you might be thinking of her older cousin, Eloise? apart from a few leaked things, I don’t think there is anything public. hg
