On March 3, 2021, Crown Princess Kiko participated in the online 72nd Japanese National Tuberculosis Prevention Conference with a video message. In her video message, the Crown Princess said: "We will all try to gain correct knowledge about infectious diseases including tuberculosis, deepen our understanding, and take appropriate actions with compassion."
The Crown Princess also watched the online conference from the Akasaka Palace in Tokyo. Crown Princess Kiko is president of Japanese Anti-Tuberculosis Association. Crown Princess Kiko attends the conference every year, but due to the pandemic, the method of holding the conference was changed to online.
Tenue sobre mais élégante pour la princesse avec des perles qui rehaussent le tout surtout que sa coiffure est toujours la même depuis fort longtemps !

DeleteYes, it looks like she has fallen into that trap so many royal women fall into of keeping their hair the same style for the rest of their lives.
DeleteWe don't hear too much about TB these days, living where there are relatively few cases. It was eye-opening to me to see just how prevalent it still is in other parts of the world and the number of deaths yearly. Fantastic job, Kiko! ~d
