As part of Children's Mental Health Week, the Duchess of Cambridge spoke with teachers and and staff from the Ribbon Academy in County Durham on February 2 to hear about how they have been supporting students during the coronavirus pandemic and COVID-19 lockdowns. The video call was shared on February 4 across the Royal Family's social media channels.
The duchess spoke one-on-one with teachers, including headteacher Ashleigh Sheridan. The duchess is also the royal patron for Place2Be, a charity that provides mental health resources to schools and their staff, which has worked in partnership with Ribbon Academy. For the digital appearance, The Duchess of Cambridge wore a blue tweed blazer by Rebecca Taylor.

She has definitely found her place and role under the sun and it is so obvious that she enjoys doing this. She is such a great listener and her conversational skill is marvellous. Her smile is encouraging and lovely at the same time. Couldn't imagine a better person as a future Queen. On the fashion side - as always, appropriate and elegant.
Her sincere support for teachers and children is commendable. Her minimal makeup and ponytail are probably typical of mothers and teachers all over the world who are "locked in" during this pandemic. She proves that you can look pretty without too much fuss. Her earrings are pretty too.
That jacket looks stunning to Kate. It looks ridiculous on a model. Why don't designers choose real women to show off their models? This model looks like an immature teenager, moreover, her jeans and shirt do not fit the jacket at all. This model would definitely not move me - as a customer - to buy this jacket. I'm sure Kate paired the jacket with elegant pants or a pencil skirt.
With tabletop dressing, you have no idea how Kate has styled this jacket. She has probably worn comfortable trousers, but could just as easily be in jeans. I realize the look is not for everyone, but it is a younger look to mix a tailored jacket with jeans, even distressed jeans.
I agree with you, Anon 4:31. The model looks quite ridiculous. I do not have a problem wearing it with jeans if it looks like it fits the person properly. While I would prefer the sleeves to be full length or 3/4 I did find past pics of Catherine wearing this jacket with matching skirt. Her sleeves are the same length as the model, but the real difference is the cinched in waist part of the jacket on Catherine. It hits her waist and the the ruffle then falls below that. This is a much better fit and look, otherwise it just looks like someone borrowed it from a smaller person or else put it in the dryer by mistake.
The model does not look like an adult woman, but as a teenager. At first glance, it seemed to me that he was a boy. No breasts, hunched over. The jacket, on the other hand, is very feminine. There are clothes that look good on teenagers, there are clothes that require women's curves. Even those jeans don't fit her good ass. I don't think unhealthy-looking people should be chosen as models,
Agree with comments above about how well the Duchess has found her niche during the pandemic. Loved this jacket when she wore it before as part of a suit. I know we can't TELL what she's wearing, but really hoping it's the matching skirt, nice trousers or smart jeans! :-) :-)
Why would that model wear a jacket that looks like it shrank big-time. Looks fairly tight on Catherine as well. Can't really say anything nice about it 'ceptin' the color. ~Laurel~

I love the look on the Model - on Princes Catherine it‘s a bit dowdy - just an opinion.

DeleteBecause, Unknown, the main focus of the blog is clothes...
