Tessy Antony de Nassau is expecting her first child with her fiancé
On Wednesday, Tessy Antony de Nassau announced that she is expecting her first child with her fiancé Swiss businessman Frank Floessel. Tessy shared two photos on her Instagram account on Wednesday. Tessy wrote the following caption: "Spring is the perfect time for delicate flowers to grow.". In the photos, Tessy wore a mustard yellow lace dress by Maje.
Tessy and Frank announced their engagement on Instagram on New Year's Eve 2020 when they were in Switzerland to celebrate their engagement. Tessy is the mother of Prince Gabriel and Prince Noah from her first marriage to Prince Louis of Luxembourg. Prince Louis and Tessy divorced in 2017 after ten years of marriage.

ReplyDeleteCharlotte Grimaldi, Beatrice Borromeo, and Tatiana Santo Domingo aren't Princesses either and I have NEVER seen anyone question the blog moderators feature of them. It's also pretty rude to write such a terrible thing in response to someone's joyous news. I've noticed some commentators on this site like to bring up the "Is she royal/princess" for certain persons. At least be consistent and fair. All I've ever seen is fawning over the Grimaldi girls.

DeleteShe is the mother of two princes

DeleteI don't think that you need to qualify as "princess" (or "royal", or whatever else for this matter) in order to get mentioned here. Why on earth should we not get informed about a former member of the Luxemburg Grandducal Family? She still has ties to them through her children with Prince Louis of Luxemburg. And don't shout (capital letters are considered as shouting on the internet), that's bad manners.
DeleteNo, she is De Nassau, so she is still connected to Royal Family of Luxembourg.
DeleteM.
We don't need to read about Charlotte, Tatiana, Beatrice, Meghan and Tessy.
DeleteHelen you should focus on real royals (it's my good advice, trust me).
Princess, Prince,Queen, King... that's all.
Tessy Anthony is ex-wife of Prince. Not Princess, not daughter of Prince. Just girl next door with new man and next baby on the way. Please don't make of her big star.

DeleteWhy do you say 'we don' t need.." and why are you giving unrequested advice?
The others can be interested in reading also about Tessy.
Please, just move on.
Thank you.
M.
I want to hear about her!
ReplyDeleteWhy? She's ex wife of Prince. Not a Princess.
DeleteIrma
Me too Irma . I want to hear and see her and her two young princes . Why not , she still relate to the Ducal Family Of Luxembourg. M
DeleteCongratulations!!!!
ReplyDeleteJust made my first visit of the day to NewMyRoyals and read the news of Tessy-Antony-de-Nassau and her expected child with her Fiancé. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteWhen I visited there were nine comments already made and within these nobody had said a word about fashion ????
Plus despite the notice at the top of the page, the Anonymous entries with no nick or blog name are being accepted.
Have I misunderstood something on this point or am I having problems reading English?
Hope I'm not out of place in making a brief fashion comment ...........
Lace dresses have never been a favourite of mine. Can't really explain why. Summer beach wear maybe. However I like the colour.
Nice dress, yes. I like some lace in dresses. I don't understand where and when she has been wearing it in this winter period.
DeleteThank you for making the comment I was about to make. I am signing my comments, so I expect the rules to be the same for all. What slips through the cracks? Another off-topic, "let me tell you who to write about" post. I can't believe all the time wasted on who is royal enough to be here. Just move on. Children understand this concept better than adults!
DeleteI, too, like the color. I am more a fan of a crocheted dress than this heavy lace.

DeleteWhere is your signature,please?
The rule applies to you as well.

I think the photo is an old one as they appear to be beside the sea somewhere. Maybe it's from their holiday snaps.
DeleteCertainly not the type of dress to wear for a European winter.

ReplyDeleteLove that dress. Princess Sofia of Sweden has a white Maje top just like it.
ReplyDeleteDachte eigentlich , mit der Scheidung gehört sie nicht mehr zur luxemburgischen Grossherzogs Familie ??
ReplyDeleteLovely dress, congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteNot sure what’s going on on these blogs nowadays, it seems like the doors of hate have opened....
Marie Angelique, it is a rule of good manners to give advice only when requested, nobody asked for yours. This has been said many times, if you aren’t interested on a particular topic, just move on. We, adults do this all the time.

Dear CB
DeleteI don't ask you about anything.

Love the photo of Tessy. In this day and age she is the norm. I love her dress; such a pretty girl
ReplyDeleteI would like to remind everyone, that nowadays (and even several decades earlier) royal gentlemen have married non-royal ladies:
ReplyDeleteSonja and Mette-Marit of Norway, Silvia and Sofia of Sweden, Mary and Marie of Denmark, Maxima and Laurentien of The Netherlands, Maria Teresa of Luxembourg, Catherine Cambridge, Letizia of Spain, Charlene of Monaco, Masako of Japan. If we leave all ladies of non-royal descent away, there is not much to tell about. Only Mathilde of Belgium and Stephanie of Luxembourg have an aristocratic background. Are they "good enough" or not?
Margot
Thanks for this reminder, Margot.
DeleteTessy is not Princess not beacuse of her background but because her divorce. She's not a Princess anymore.
DeleteMarie Angelique
Oh dear I am afraid not even they would do. They have an aristocratic background but are not Royal as in prince or princess, king or queen or sons or daughters of a Royal. You see we will have almost no ones clothes to pick apart, pass judgement on or find imagination firing for our own simple wardrobes.
DeleteNow for the fashion part. I love her choice of dress. I would take the lining though past the openwork knee area (seen on model). I find it a bit distracting like it was too short and they decided to add a bit to the bottom.
Beautiful pics.
ReplyDeleteLove this lace dress.
Congratulations to both of them!!
M.
Girls celebrities are not Royals!
ReplyDeleteVanessa
Not sure what you really mean ! Belonging currently to a royal family seems the key criteria, but as usual it is quite difficult to set the borders to the rule. I think everyone remembers about her as a member of the Luxemburg royal family and they allowed her to keep their name. Let's be equally open. I think we have to pay attention not including a judgement on the person in our position.
DeleteThere are enough royals, without talking about a divorced person. If she is mentioned in connection with her sons, that is one thing, but we don't need to know about yet another pregnancy with/without the marriage certificate. jgr
ReplyDeleteExcuse me, but I really think your comment comes directly from an era long bygone. I'm quite shocked...
Delete@Margot: point taken. However, all the ladies you have rightly mentioned are still members of the respective royal families, whereas Tessy is not any longer. I think this the crux of the matter and why some people here think she should not be featured. Otherwise this blog might as well feature the Kardashians too... Just saying
ReplyDeleteMimi
Mimi You are only one person here who understand me. LA
DeleteI enjoy all of the posts on here, and enjoy most of the comments. She is still part of the royal family and she is out trying to do good in the world. She makes me chilly in the lace dress, but it is a pretty photo! LU
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, you can see their love and delight in each other, their happiness at a new baby on the way. Beautiful dress which suits Tessy well, and adore her loose curls. Tessy has grown into a self-confident, competent, beautiful woman. I hope she continues to be covered on this blog. IMO once a royal, always a royal. Can't imagine not covering Princess Di after the divorce, can you? S.M.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Tessy de Nassau and Frank Floessel.
ReplyDeleteMarie Angelique???? If you are going to start giving professional advice to the blog administrator, reading comprehension must be a must, altougt I can't imagine why you think that you are entitled? Spewing hateful comments behind your keyboard is hardly a qualification... as you see there are a few like you on this blog.
ReplyDeleteCB
Lovely news! Tessy seems to be a lovely young woman. I wish her and her fiancé every happiness.
