King Abdullah and Queen Rania of Jordan visited the tomb of the late King Hussein on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of his death. King Abdullah laid a wreath at the tomb and recited verses from the Holy Quran. Crown Prince Hussein, several members of the Royal family, and senior officials and officers also visited the tomb. Afterwards, The King and Queen visited Al Hussein Social Foundation for Orphans which was founded by the late King Hussein.
Hussein bin Talal became King of Jordan on August 11, 1952 and reigned until his death in 1999. As a member of the Hashemite dynasty, the royal family of Jordan since 1921, King Hussein was a 40th-generation direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad. During his reign, the shaping of the modern Kingdom of Jordan took place, and his policies greatly increased the standard of living of Jordanian people.
ReplyDeleteQueen Rania always looks appropriate for the occasion and to somehow reflect the standards of the Jordanian/Arab culture, while still looking stylish, feminine, and attractive.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Spot on!

She always looks beautiful. She usually has a more high fashion look, but always culturally appropriate. I like her high ponytail, the gold hair accessory is gorgeous, without being flashy.
ReplyDeleteAs usual, the King looks handsome in his suit (perfectly tailored).

Nice look. Personally I don't see the point of the white scarf balanced on the ponytail - if it's a head covering wear on your head, if it's an accessory wear it round your neck.
