On January 14, Queen Maxima paid an online working visit to three social initiatives in Aruba, Curaçao and Bonaire. The initiatives in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom are supported by the Oranje Fonds. The talks with Fundacion Pa Nos Comunidad, Stichting Kinderbescherming Curaçao and Stichting Jeugdwerk Jong Bonaire were all about the influence of the corona pandemic on local activities. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima are patrons of the Oranje Fonds.
Fundacion Pa Nos Comunidad Aruba (FPNC) is the official Food Bank in Aruba. Stichting Kinderbescherming Curaçao (Curaçao Child Protection Foundation) provides help to children, young people, and adults who live in circumstances that hinder their health and development. Stichting Jeugdwerk Jong Bonaire (The Young Bonaire Foundation for Youth Work) is an organization founded in 1959 and serving the youth of Bonaire ever since.
I think she needs reading glasses without rims so she kan see for herself that she has far too much eye shadow on and it is very badly applied. The trouble with being longsighted is that you can't see yourself properly without the glasses and you can't put eye makeup on when wearing them. Perhaps we can donate a 15 times magnification mirror to her. That works, I know from experience.
ReplyDeletePleased to see Maxima and her lovely dress. She can continue to wear it over and over again.
ReplyDeleteUne bien jolie robe ; j'aimerais bien savoir si elle la porte avec des bottes comme sur le mannequin - J'aime beaucoup ses boucles d'oreilles qui me font presque penser à des groseilles miam, miam !
ReplyDeleteWhere does she go for those huge earrings? Such circus earrings are not suitable for working meetings at all. The color of the dress suits her, but I'm not sure about the cut (maybe because I don't like oversize models). I guess I'll repeat myself, but she should fire her hairdresser - her hair is badly colored, you can see her grown roots.
ReplyDeleteThe Netherlands are in lockdown. Hairdressers are closed!
DeleteI mean her hair is an issue most of the time but looks so much better when its up. To make matters worse, hairdressers are currently closed in the Netherlands so we might be seeing the roots for a few more weeks.
DeleteThis is a tale of good and evil LOL. First the good; I like her hair pulled back (looks tidy even if the back isn't), and the dress is great (beautiful color and classic design. Now the bad; the way too heavy makeup and the heavy earrings. If those 2 things had been toned down, this would have been a great look.

Nice dress in a lovely colour which suits Maxima really well. I love her big earrings. For myself in my job the only way I feel comfortable in moving from the professional dress code is earrings (and tights!) I think she is great.
ReplyDeleteMakeup far too heavy and dark, not appropriate for a day meeting on zoom
ReplyDeleteEarrings absurd, not appropriate for a day zoom meeting
Hair, passable (for once) though the dark roots need to be taken out, and the hair cut.
The eye make-up is far too heavy, and indeed, put on in a very sloppy manner. Maxima has a tendency to sloppiness in hair, dress and make-up which makes even the nicest and most expensive outfits look awful. The very contrary of this attitude is Letizia, in my opinion.

ReplyDeleteTotally agree.

Ugly earrings, cheap looking. Hair, tidy, but color is missing on the wide roots, not a fashion statement, poor hair dresser.
ReplyDeleteI like her look and style. Heavy makeup suits her dark eyes and strong features well, and I also like her bold and fun style with earrings etc. The tapestry behind her looks beautiful!
