On January 24, International Education Day, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa made a video call to students at The Biermans-Lapôtre Foundation and received information about the difficulties students are facing following the COVID-19 crisis. The Biermans-Lapôtre Foundation is in the Cité Universitaire and hosts most of the cultural events. International Education Day is annually celebrated on January 24.
During the video call, The Grand Duchess said that education remains our best weapon in the fight against social injustices and poverty. She also stated that we must do everything to ensure access to quality education for everybody.
Amazing new look for the Grand Duchess . She looks beautiful in black. The heavy eyeliner suits her well.
ReplyDeleteNice speech from the Grand Duchess. But I don't like her blouse for her, always the same she is too short to wear that sort of blouse, and shoulders too low.
ReplyDeleteOne of her best appearances in a long time. Her skin seems to have cleared (or better made up this time), the hair is very nice styled like this, makes her look years younger and fresh. Really enjoyed this look. If I could be her stylist I would tell her to stick to it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you .
DeleteFirst look; like a tart (not trying to be rude, just first impression of the photo), talking to students, with a blouse so low you could show something accidentally. It's an odd neckline, as if she forgot to button it. Hair a mess, makeup far too heavy. She is not a teenager, she should dress her age with hair/makeup and clothing.
ReplyDelete@7:01pm - Spot on! ~Laurel~
DeleteShe clearly does not look like a tart, her outfit is great for the event. A woman does not have to stop looking nice just because she is over 60. This comment is very insulting and rude.
DeleteCan you imagine how wonderful this hairstyle would look on Maxima? Now we just have to find a way to make the two ladies have a neighbourly chat about hairdressers.....

Anon 7:09 PM, you're spot on! Totally agree!
Deletela Grande Duchesse, a toujours une figure aimable et avenante, mais a tendance à trop charbonner ses yeux, cela n'est pas du meilleur goût ainsi que ses décolletés improbables, extravagants et débraillés,

J’ai entendu que madame est la contraire d’une personne aimable.... whatever happened to the investigations into her horrible treatment of her staff? Sorry, my French has its limitations.....
