Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway met with scientists Kristin and Jørn Braa, who are professors at the University of Oslo and creators of the health information system District Health Information Software 2 (DHIS2) currently used in the tracking of the Covid-19 virus. DHIS2 is an open source, web-based health management information system (HMIS) platform. DHIS2 is the world's largest HMIS platform. It is in use in 73 low and middle-income countries. Kristin Braa and Jørn Braa are siblings and have been awarded the international 2020 Roux Prize.
It's a pity that video confernces don't allow us to have much to talk about on the fashion front. Generally, all we can see is the participants head and shoulders.
ReplyDeleteAnd often, from what there is to see, the images are not good.
But that's the price we are having to pay whilst living with a very contagious virus.
Brighter times are on the way, I'm sure.
MM looked gorgeous in curls on the video they had a few days ago on detnorskekongehus on Instagram. In a turtleneck, but fabulous. For some reason this blog seldom share whats on their Instagram.
DeleteInteresting what kind of art people put up on their walls.
ReplyDeleteAfter your post, I went back and looked at the Art work---I see what you mean. Three very different backgrounds! :-) It's good to see Mette-Marit looking well after her skiing accident
DeleteHaakon and Mette-Marit appear to be very comfortable in their own skin. When necessary, they are very glamorous but, on an every-day basis, they are just like the rest of us. They are one of my favorite royal couples.
ReplyDeleteAgree, Debra! My favorite too.
DeleteFully agree, I adore this couple
DeleteI so agree! They seem so fun and down to earth. Just an all around lovely couple. I always love seeing them.
