The royal family attended an event to thank local volunteers at Windsor Castle
On December 8, Queen Elizabeth II, The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, The Earl and Countess of Wessex and The Princess Royal attended an event to thank local volunteers and key workers in the quadrangle of Windsor Castle. During the socially distanced engagement, the royal family listened to a selection of Christmas carols performed by the Salvation Army Band. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s tour of the country by royal train has come to an end at Windsor Castle.
Her Majesty looks great in red.
ReplyDeleteHer Majesty looks bright and cheery; I like her coat, I also like Kate's coat ,the fur on the collar and the buttons. Great to see all of the family together. Who would have ever thought last Christmas we would all be wearing masks this Christmas. The Christmas trees in the background of the group photo look lovely; that would make a nice Christmas card.
ReplyDeleteHer Majesty was radiant in red. Her scarf was the perfect touch.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see that they all attended. That's very honourable and meaningful. The queen looks lovely and seasonally festive in red.

I really like the dramatic lighting in the second to last photo.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks classy, love her bright coat and wonderful smile.
Catherine's coat is elegant, and chic, however the elegant earrings with that casual mask looks a little bit off. She is beautiful.
Was Princess Anne's husband there? She is cut off in some of the photos, sad to say.
Edward and Sophie look dapper and nice in their winter attire.
No. Vice-Admiral Laurence was not attending. The Princess Royal was on her own.
DeleteDuchess Kate was consistent with long coats, almost 5 in a row

A stylish manifestation of the monarchy!
ReplyDeleteI love Queen's outfit. Red suits her and hat's shape complements her face. A beautiful brooch too which matches her scarf. The other ladies all look lovely except for Sophie, which disappoints me greatly considering all the hard work she's doing. I think her coat is poorly made and doesn't flatter her figure.
ReplyDeleteThey all are looking wonderful.
ReplyDeleteA great iniziative to thank volunteers and a way to mark closeness between the Royal Family and common people who made and are still making
remarkable sacrifices to help others.
Her Majesty looks so festive...
ReplyDeleteLong Live the Queen...

ReplyDeleteNice winter outfits for everyone. I have the same coat as Kate in chocolate brown colour. I can confirm that it is wonderfully soft, warm and perfectly shapes the figure.
ReplyDeleteAnd when I opened the envelope for the winner of the "Most beautiful Royal of the Day", guess whose name came out? ........ the Queen.
ReplyDeleteFantastic to see them altogether and all looking great,, though I agree with Anon 11 36 that Sophie's coat is not the most flattering and her hair is not very tidy. The Queen's bright red is superb and the scarf, hat and ruby brooch are just wonderful. Love Camilla's very regal purple and the bright mask. Think I may have seen Princess Anne's coat before but still fits and still smart :-) Catherine's coat is as elegant and smart as the ones she has worn all week. The brief ceremony is on You Tube if you want to see it "in action" Lovely.
