  1. I think the Duchess's suit is very nice but that bolero/cape object very strange. I think a thick soft fringed cashmere shawl thrown over her shoulder towards the back would work just as well as far as warmth is concerned and it would look far more youthful and indeed elegant.

    1. I agree; the suit is quite attractive and a change of pace for Camilla which is great. And I like that she is wearing low-heeled pumps and semi-sheer hose, rather than the opaque tights and black boots. The bolero, though, is strange-looking (and why those exaggerated shoulder pads?). The soft cashmere shawl worn as you suggest would be a wonderful alternative.

Royals are not supposed to give out their signatures. So why are these two writing it on a public wall, where it can be photographed by anyone, and then copied, over, and over again. Totally dumb move on each of their parts. Don't like his or her outfits, looks very 'old fashioned', oh wait, they are both old. lol

    1. Enjoy your "young" years. One day you'll be old like them.

    2. I didn't know Her Majesty visits Newmyroyals. Just out of curiosity where are you getting these aforementioned protocols from? I would think that the Prince of Wales, heir apparent of several decades, would know what he "can" and "cannot" do. Really curious as to how people are getting a copy of this "Royal Protocol" handbook and how one becomes an official enforcer of royal protocol. I particularly see them come on in strong force on the posts concerning the Duchess of Sussex. This is a first.

Who says? There are royal signatures all over the place.

Love all these "experts" presenting nonsense as rules.

    4. Charles' signature is well known from the "spider letters" among other things. If you want to see it yourself you can google it as you can for the Duchess of Cornwall. To call it a "dumb move" seems harsh. As for old, I agree with Deadeggs comment and would also point out that some of the most elegant people to appear on this site are people like Princess Benedikte or Queen Sonia who are both older that Charles and Camilla

Camilla's cape is too short. It should have hit near her sleeves for it to have looked good. I personally don't like opaque tights with pumps. It's just my preference. Charles has misshapen his suit with the constant weight of his hands in his pockets. His clothes have been looking shabby lately. Maybe it is time for a few new suits with a little more structure. His are probably quite old and tired.

The Duchess of Cornwall's masks are so wonderful. She and Prince of Wales are setting a great example of being able to live one's life while wearing a mask.

Lovely couple;but I think their clothes need a bit of a reboot for 2021; His suit jacket is so poorly made;that it is ruffled up around the central buttons;the over cape is not even like little red riding hood, it is too short. The silhouette of dark stockings and black shoes went out years ago;even her Majesty doesn't get caught in that faux pas.

    1. Black stockings and shoes went out years ago?? Blimey, I make that 'faux pas' alarmingly often then!

@Cath The stockings are opaque, except at the knee when she is sitting. Fashion-wise, opaque tights are best left to boots, and sheer stockings are worn with shoes. You could say you are in good company. Kate does the same thing on occasion though I haven't seen it this autumn/winter, yet.
