Queen Silvia took part in the online Silvia Home Certification ceremony
On Monday, November 30, Queen Silvia took part in the Silvia Home Certification ceremony of St. Carolus Hospital in Görlitz, Germany. The ceremony was held online. During the ceremony, the hospital received the Silvia Home's framed certificate and about 300 employees received their course certificates. Queen Silvia and Silviahemmet's principal Wilhelmina Hoffman gave speeches.
St. Carolus Hospital in Görlitz is the first in Germany to be Silvia Home certified. During the year, all employees in all the hospital's departments were trained in dementia care. The Silvia Home Foundation (Stiftelsen Silviahemmet), of which The Queen is president and with which she works actively, promotes scientific research and offers education, specialised training and care in the field of dementia.
Silviahemmet offers training in various professional categories within the healthcare and social care sectors and arranges courses for families and other informal caregivers. In addition, Silviahemmet’s certification programme is offered internationally.
Ahh... finally see some mask-wearing person under the Swedish post. Fashion wise, nice brooch and scarf for the queen.
ReplyDeleteThose two masked-up ladies are in Germany. ~Laurel~
DeleteAhh... you want the Queen to wear a mask in her own home?
DeleteA very nice speech on the very difficult subject of care for dementia patients. I am full of admiration for her.
ReplyDeleteNot sure the scarf works with the jacket, too much white/light colors and scarf too bulky. Great Queen.
ReplyDeleteJ'aime beaucoup le style de sa veste/blazer blanc joliment structurée ; avec sa petite étole accompagnée de sa petite broche, elle est ravissante !
