Queen Mathilde visited the two nursing homes in Brussels
Last week, Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited the two care homes in Brussels. The Queen thanked all volunteers who have helped in homes for the elderly. To support the medical staff, the Belgian Red Cross deployed volunteers who carry out logistical tasks in order to relieve the staff in the healthcare sector. More than 10,000 candidates have already registered and regularly provide assistance in more than 300 health centers. Belgian Red Cross-Flanders is an independent volunteer organization.
Love the berry colours--the beautiful red cape and the smart green blouse. The Queen looks good here
ReplyDeleteRavissante Mathilde avec ce haut de couleur verte lumineuse que je préfère à cette sorte de petite cape rouge !
ReplyDeleteA very festive combination. The pieces separately are rich in color. The entire green CH ensemble would be a great addition to any wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteThe Belgian royals have been exceptional during the pandemic, in particular with their attention to the elderly. MB
Like the festive colors. I particularly like the green blouse with the plaid pants. Wish her pants were a touch longer. Nursing homes have been hit so hard by Covid- great cause for Mathilde to bring attention too.

Wonderful colors of the season, professional look, not overly done, just perfect.
ReplyDeleteYep, just perfect.
DeleteI don't really understand what she is wearing, but I like it. Blouse is green, the cape is red with short sleeves, but we don't see the sleeves of the blouse, 2 separate occasions?
ReplyDeleteMy favourite Queen outside of Queen Elizabeth II. Her caring and compassion during the early months of the pandemic and beyond touched me deeply. Especially her reaching out to nursing homes with homemade cakes. She got her children involved very early too and that was so specials. Merry Christmas Queen Mathilde and family and all the best for a Happy New Year.
