Queen Letizia attended working meeting of The FundeuRAE (Foundation of Emerging Spanish), which is made up of academics and prestigious linguists, journalists and experts in other areas, who advise on the preparation of recommendations to promote the proper use of Spanish in the media. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Royal Spanish Academy.
The main objective of the meeting was to give information about the details of the new journey of the foundation, which since last September has been made up of the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) and the EFE Agency. The main responsibility of the Foundation is to maintain the unity and purity of the Spanish language.
The Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in February 2005 in Madrid. The foundation was created in collaboration with the Royal Spanish Academy (a government institution that standardizes Spanish) and the Department of Urgent Spanish of Agencia EFE.

ReplyDeleteOh, that jacket!
ReplyDeleteHaute couture at it’s best!
Love the gunmetal grey shoes!
ReplyDeleteSupersmart work outfit. Love it.
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteMe too!
DeleteOh wow I really LOVE this outfit. monochrome and sharp. It's serious but fabulous. Her hair in the picture where she previously wore the suit looks great. She should wear her locks down and straight more often.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning. Beautiful sharp suit and superbly draped coat. The shoes just tie it all together.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely agree. That suit is fantastic, tailored beautifully (as always). Those shoes are just the cherry on top, gorgeous!

Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteFabulous from head to toe! The seams of her coat echoes those on her jacket. Exquisite!
ReplyDeleteFabulous outfit, love the jacket.. Her hair looks great.
ReplyDeleteLove Letitzia's edgy style, and her figure is superb. She has gorgeous, glossy hair but I am getting tired of the ponytail - it's too young for a woman nearing 50, especially on official occasions. Maybe when she's at home relaxing or working on a project. I understand that Covid caused all of us to change our hair-care routines, but she should be able to get a decent cut by now.
ReplyDeleteThere is no age limit on ponytails. If Maxima wore her hair in one, there would be rejoicing.
DeleteI must disagree with your comment about the hair, a well groomed ponytail is classic. Absolutely not age inappropriate.
DeleteChel
Since she's not dyeing, there is nothing to complain around her hairline.
DeleteQuite the opposite, this high ponytail emphases her stunning neck and jaw.
I disagree with anon2:18 and agree and agree with the 3 reactions.
DeleteAnon @2:18 am . I completely disagree with the opinion that a high and sleek ponytail is only for younger people, this is just another form of conditioning. If you would look into different cultures, you would see that older women sport this kind of hair style, not to mention that Letizia looks so very youthful that she can wear almost anything and still look smashing.. love her fashion sense.

I am Spanish and I cannot really understand or share the overall feeling /opinion here of Letizia's "fabulous style". As much as I try though,I can only see a total lack of style or elegance...It is my very personal opinion,of course. Please do not take this as an attack or an ofense.Just a different point of view.
I'm sorry, but Letizia is maybe Europe's most elegant and stylish queen.
DeleteI also think Letizia is very elegant and stylish. However, as far as I can judge and express my views correctly, her style is very varied and rather international fashion, and therefore probably not always appreciated in her country.

Elegant color combination, love the suit, but the sleeves are as always a bit too long.
DeleteThe suit is superb! Hugo Boss rarely disappoints. But i don't get the coat sleeves, they look like they shrank in the washer. It may be trendy but not pleasing to the eye. The only way I could see this type of sleeve work is with long, opera gloves - but that would not be adequate for this event of course.... Maxima would wear it though :-)
ReplyDeleteLong gloves with this set of clothes? By God, I'm sorry if I laugh, but that would only occur to Máxima or Mathilde who are not elegant at all. I would say that they are quite "tacky", they always go to carnival, which is the opposite of elegance, especially the Dutch one.Still, I respect your taste, of course.
DeleteThis is a bracelet length coat. The intention is that the sleeves of the undergarment should be visible.
