On December 16, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia received Christmas trees from forestry programme students from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). The students from the forestry programme at SLU in Umeå were Clara Hernblom, Alice Sjölund, Kaj Sjöqvis and Sofia Andersson. The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences has presented Christmas trees to the Royal Palace of Stockholm since the late 1960s. Princess Sofia wore a new plaid wool coat from Tommy Hilfiger.

    Sofia looks great. She’s popped. I love the plaid jacket- it’s festive and cherry. I like the Swedish Royal Family’s tradition of receiving a Christmas tree each year.

    Sophia looks wonderful! Her coat is beautiful and I love her dress. I hope to see her dress in a more modern way during her pregnancy. There is no reason to hide or disguise her beautiful body. A pregnant woman should be celebrated.

    Just a thought...To all the people that were "seeing a negative change" in Sofia or thinking there were "problems between Carl Philip and Sophia", do you feel foolish? This lovely young woman was pregnant, and together they were keeping it a secret from the public. What a shame to always think the worst of people.

      Exatly that was my thought either. She was tired, because first trimester is always very exhausting phisically. Merry Xmas everybody!

    I am not a fan of the colors of Sofias coat, the red areas are too bright in my opinion.
