Charlene's coat is quite nice, although too long IMV.
ReplyDeleteGabriella looks wonderful, Jacques doesn't look comfortable in his uniform. Is it right to ask such a young kid to wear a uniform?
Albert was even younger when wearing uniform for the first time. There is also an old photo (approximately from the 1920's) showing Albert's father prince Rainier in uniform. We can presume that it is the tradition in Monaco.

Princess Charlene's coat is very noticable in the crowd. I love it.
DeleteInstantly takes me back to Moscow, War and Peace, Doctor Zhivago.
No reference of designer, fashion house etc for the coat.

DeleteYes, Charlotte's coat is stunning.
She is tall and it fits her perfectly.
Love her pillbox hat too.
Beatrice is breathtaking.
* Charlene is wearing a beret had.

DeleteMerci pour les informations sur Terrence Bray.
Hadn't noticed before that Princess Charlène has been and still is a fan/client of this South African fashion designer. Looks like he does both male and female fashions. And looks like they have collaborated together even before she got married.
Many of the princesses seem to be loyal to their fellow country designers as seen with Mary of Denmark, Victoria of Sweden, the Duchess of Cambridge etc.
Why is everybody so somber?
ReplyDeleteLooks more like a funeral.
The little heir in a fancy costume?
ReplyDeleteTrès beau manteau, certes un peu long .
Beatrice wins as per usual and I love Tatiana as well.
ReplyDeleteGabriella is becoming more beautiful each day. Resembles mum a bit. Jacques look cute in his uniform

ReplyDeleteWhere is Charlotte with her boys?
ReplyDeleteLa principessa Gabriella indossa un abito del marchio francese Jacadi
ReplyDeleteThis is probably the first National day I like everyone's look. Everyone is wearing silhouettes that aren't over the top or peculiar, which is nice.
ReplyDeleteReally like that the twins are matching their parents. And the Casiraghi kids are matching each other.
Also, love how Caroline styled her hair. It seems she's slowly letting her white hair to be visible and it looked wonderful in natural sunlight.

Whereas the Duchess of Cambridge wears military-style outfits, Charlene seems to wear long coat-like dresses that resemble a priest's cassock. Strange? I think so. Alexandra finally looking like a young adult and less like a child dressed in grown-up clothes. Is Caroline letting it all hang out and looking her age, or has she just missed her weekly hair color appt.? And a genuine smile from Charlene on the last picture, very cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat a rude remark about Caroline. She seems to let her grey hair take over, and it suits her. She still is one of the most elegant royals.

Finally, after all these years, a photo of Gabriella that I like. What a great outfit for her. Why dress Jacques like a little toy soldier, what do actual servicemen think. The remainder of this family, as usual, no matter the occasion, are looking strange and sombre. Good on Caroline for displaying her gray hair, I hope she doesn't go to extreme dark (the older we get, the lighter our hair naturally is, same with makeup). ~Laurel~
ReplyDeleteThey haven't dressed him as a toy soldier - he is wearing the dress uniform of the Monaco carabiniers, who, amongst other things, guard the Palace.
DeleteIt's a tradition - he follows his father, his grandfather and his father's cousin who all did the same. Not to mention Andrea and Pierre Casiraghi. Prince Rainier who did serve in the second world war had no problem with it. Not that I can see why any serviceman would have a problem with it - seems to me they have far more important things to worry about.
Some people just have find something to take offence at.
Beatrice is as stylish as ever, elegant and beautifully dressed. Love the hairpiece. Also like Tatiana ensemble, perfect for the occasion. However, Charlene has a medieval look in that long long coat.. Not a fan, must say. Caroline is a mismatch to the others with her with gloves.
ReplyDeleteCharlene looks chic and regal and Beatrice is stunning as usual. That burgundy headband suits her blond hair perfectly. I also love her two boys in their brown coats. So cute. Charlene's little two are totally adorable. Gabrielle's dress is very cute and Jacques costume is also cute in a fun 'lets play dress-up' way. Love seeing these kids having fun on these official occasions.

J aime toute particulièrement la dernière photo.
ReplyDeleteCharlene est souriante.
Gabriella ,mignonne est joliment vêtue et coiffée
Jacques,très observateur, de
plus en plus beau.
I really love this family. They are so close to each other and to their beloved Monaco. They all look marvelous. Charlene looks very chic. I would only shorten the length of her coat. The pop of pink is brilliant. Gabriella's dress is adorable, and Jacques is carrying on tradition in the uniform. I do wish the trousers were shorter however. Caroline looks beautiful. I love the gloves. I think her skirt could have been a little longer, but she certainly does have the legs for the shorter skirt. It is a pleasure to see this attractive, stylish family.
ReplyDeleteI love Charlene’s hat. The style works really well with her haircut. The pearl earrings are great. I like the bright pink lining of her coat but it is too long and I don’t like the sleeves. The sheer gloves are hideous. Beatrice and Tatianna both look great. I like both of of their headbands. Jacques is too cute in his military uniform. All four kids are adorable.
ReplyDeleteE.B.B.
Beautiful suit on Beatrice, she looks so elegant.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow. What richness to see so many of the family including the youngsters. Confused by the masks, I genuinely didn’t recognise Tatiana at first. With shorter hair held back off her face and a stylish outfit instead of her usual flowing boho, she looks fabulous. What a transformation. Beatrice is understated elegance personified as usual. I like the colour in Charlene’s otherwise sombre outfit but agree with those who think it’s too long. Caroline’s outfit is smart but she looks tired and old in these photos.
ReplyDeleteApart from Tatiana, the best looks are those of the children. It’s lovely to see smart formal outfits on them and they are all such beautiful children too.
AnnieM, I so agree with you. Tatiana looked stunning, outfit, hair, everything. She almost stole the show!
DeleteWho's the lady on photo's 25 + 26, with the black mini dress? And the one with the pink coat? And yes, where's Charlotte, and her family?
ReplyDeleteOn another site (noblesseetroyautes) there is a group photo with all the family participants with names . The lady in pink coat is Melanie, daughter of Albert's late cousin (granddaughter of prince Rainier's sister). The other lady I couldn't recognize. As a whole, Charlene's brothers with family attended as well as several descendants of Rainier's sister - so it has been most of the extended family. Stephanie probably had fallen ill, because she did attend events the day before.
DeleteAbout their dark clothes - my guess is that it is respect for the victims of the covid-19.
I particularly like the photo of Albert and Charlene with the two children, where she’s smiling with delight. As for the outfits, Carolyn is chic as usual. The light coloured gloves are an unexpected touch. Charlene looks wonderful in this somewhat severe coat with the flash of purple lining and the sheer gloves. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteElvira called, she wants her gloves back!
ReplyDeletewhen you see them as group together you think, they are visiting a funeral.. Only Camille brings brightness and colour.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what happend to the hippie-style of Tatiana Santo Domingo, we're not used to see her so 'seriously'.
When I saw Caroline I first saw her right arm and thought: oh she hurt her right arm and has a cast there. Than I realised, it's the outfit, well...
Wow, what a display of fantastic fashion. First, Charlene looks amazing. Just a wonderful look for her, highlighting her stature, in such a beautiful way. Love her beret hat. Second, Tatiana's look is magnificent, just elegant in that tweed. And lastly, the kids are absolutely adorable.
