Queen Maxima gave a speech at the Dies Natalis Lecture at VU Amsterdam
On Friday November 6, Queen Maxima gave a speech on the theme of entrepreneurship at the Dies Natalis Lecture at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam). This year, VU Amsterdam celebrates its 140th anniversary. At this celebratory gathering, honorary doctorates were also awarded to three individuals: Khadija Arib, Ernst Fehr and Anne-Marie Slaughter.
The Queen, who is also a member of the Dutch Committee for Entrepreneurship, talked about what is needed for the sustainable growth and development of small and medium-sized enterprises. She also emphasized the need for training employees to ensure the continuity and growth of companies and better opportunities in the labour market. Queen Maxima wore a red blouse from Claes Iversen.
Nice color of blouse - Messy hair, not suitable for a queen.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why she puts the strands on the front of her dress. It would look better if the hair fell on the back.

DeleteShe may want to give the impression she has got thicker and healthier hair, so she is putting her extensions just in front of the camera.
Regal, as always.

ReplyDeleteA lovely colour for her. I know it’s not fashion related, but what an interesting room. The inlay on that table is stunning. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteAlthough I like the blouse and her make up looks nice if a bit heavy, I do not like this colour on Queen Maxima. She wore a similar colour on November the 3rd and I thought then as well that the colour does not flatter her that much really. I think maybe that she looks much better in clearer more primary like colours not muddy ones. This is also the first time I see her without earrings I miss them.
ReplyDeleteI like the colour and style of blouse. I hate the tassels on it, look like curtain tiebacks.
